Fight Against Smithy, Who Likes Transforming (PC-98 Touhou-style Remix) | Super Mario RPG

This one was another request by ‪@shtwick‬. There have been multiple bosses in Touhou that have separate themes for their first and second phases, with Sariel (Dreemurr?), Yuyuko Saigyouji, and Kaguya Houraisan as examples. I did Smithy’s second theme.
It appears to be every time I upload a Mario-related cover, I get requests to do more. On the day I was editing this video, I got a request to do a PC-98 remix of a game I’ve never heard of or even played. That song is on my bucket list.

It sort of does sound like a Sega Genesis version, due to the YM2608 and YM2612 being in the same family of chips (OPN).

Bruh, no all YM chips sound like it belong to Sonic nor the Sega Genesis. Theres other systems who used those chips than just "Sonic".
