Thanks for showing us step by step. Definitely feel confident doing this. Will probably knock it out this weekend!!
Super helpful, thanks!
My 93 has ABS. I do like working on my LC, but I don’t think this job is for me. Thanks so much for sharing.
I keep hearing mixed things about adding a manual proportion valve for the rear brakes. Been fine without one on your setup?
Yes. Still have my rig. Runs fine still!
@NuttyNu thanks, following your guide right this moment as I'm deleting mine. You are a legend for making your video so detailed. Only not fun part is in the rear I have to make some new lines as mine are rusty
Good job man.
Thanks!
Really interested in a follow up video on your experience braking without the ABS. I"M SICK of my Mushy brake pedal and at 6k lbs makes me nervous to let my kids drive it.
Still going strong till this day.
Thank you for taking the time to film this in a tutorial manner. My question is ( and I need to read Mud on this) what about the 4 ABS sensors at each wheel? There is a vendor that sells plugs to remove. Just curious what you did?
Hi, I left the abs sensor in them for about a couple months, I now have installed the plugs from wits end! They are amazing ! Highly recommend those!
@@NuttyNu thank you. Does Joey include info on how to do it? Once sensors unplugged, you leave the plug hanging so to speak or can you remove that wiring too?
I also forgot to ask, did you ever remove canister behind main battery? What is it called? Lastly, do youhighly recommend dual batteries ? I run a winch, a couple lights and want to add puma rear air. Got the bracket and wires from LCP off mud, just need to buy compressor. It only takes 💰 😢
Yes. I deleted everything related to abs. All the wires and all. Yes I’ve deleted the canister as well
Yes do dual battery. Easy to do
There’s no reason to keep the abs wiring on the rear diff right? I can just take it out im guessing?
Yes
Did you end up selling the old/removed ABS parts? If so what range did you sell them for if you don’t mind me asking. I removed the system from my 94 and want to sell it all.
Trashed
So how does it drive without the ABS? Any negative issues ?
None, drives better. More response
@@NuttyNu even on ice and snow?
Yes
@@NuttyNu thanks Double N
