I had a question i applied for the pcc as per the video and I was raised in the uae, lived there for about 18 years as a resident but I have lost my emirates ID and it was expired since i am living abroad since 3 years now. I hit No when selecting whether I have the emirates ID and uploaded my visa passport and picture. I applied over the weekend and it still says in process. Do you think I will be asked for fingerprints? Like have you come across cases where people used to have emirates ID, applied for a ppc by saying no they dont and still got asked for biometrics? Its making me feel anxious so a reply would be great!

No need of fingerprints if you are outside uae and applying pcc for outside uae purpose. Only in exceptions cases, it might be required as dubai police feel suitable
Fingerprint is not required when you have got your fingerprints/biometrics recorded while in UAE. Only 3 documents are required to apply for PCC from outside the UAE: 1- Personal photo 2- A copy of the passport 3- A copy of the previous residency or visa In case fingerprint is asked from you, please follow the key steps below: Obtain a fingerprint card from a local police station in your current country. Schedule and attend a fingerprint appointment at your local police station or UAE Embassy/Consulate to have your fingerprints captured on the card. Get the completed fingerprint card attested by the UAE Embassy/Consulate in your country. You'll need to submit the fingerprint card, passport copy, previous UAE visa copy (if applicable), and statement of purpose. Once you have the attested fingerprint card, you can apply online through the Dubai Police website or visit a Dubai Police service center in person. Send the original attested fingerprint cards along with other required documents (passport photos, passport copy, latest UAE visa copy, reason for PCC) to the Dubai Police headquarters.
@@LearnwithAmine you literally just saved my life OMG 🥹🥹 I was so stressed about going to the police station to do the fingerprint process, send by post to the embassy in Canberra, receive it back and send to the UAE $$$$$ 😓 but after your comment I had the insight of changing the way I was doing the application I was selecting “I don’t have an emirates ID” due to it to be expired, I just changed to “I have an emirates ID” and the option for the fingerprint is gone 🥳🥳 Thanks man, truly grateful!

yes, you can apply for UAE PCC even after 2 years. The whole process is exactly as shown in the video. When it asks do you have emirates id, just say "yes" and provide the id number of expired emirates id. and you can upload expired emirates id in the supporting document. you will get pcc through email in any where between 2 days to 21 days. Hi Brother I had recently cancelled my UAE visa and now I m outside of UAE .I applied dubai pcc with my emirates id and I got pcc after 24 hrs but my picture on the certificate was picture with cap and glass that they take in immigration while exiting . Maybe this type of picture in the pcc is not acceptable .

Try to apply to uae pcc again, select option you dont have emirates id, then it lets you upload passport, photo and residence copy. Hopefully, dubai police will provide pcc with the photo you upload.
Did you apply for police clearance certificate for purposes of "outside uae" and are you outside uae? Just because they asked you for fingerpint and stamp because something was amiss with your visa, it doesnot mean all applicants are asked for it. You may read the dubai police website and it just says required documents are photo, passport copy and previous residency/visa copy. Please do not create panic among applicants
