I have a never ending love for 335’s and any of it’s derivatives, and this video shows exactly why. You can rock it hard if you want, but you can get subtle and sweet tones. Also they’re beautiful guitars.

Arterial as a color refers to the bright red color of oxygenated blood being delivered to the tissues of the body from the heart versus venous which is a dark red almost brownish color due to deoxygenation and the rbcs carrying carbon dioxide.

@@edwinstovall3334 Silicon tubing with a diameter of 4 or 5mm (depending on the tubing itself). Places selling aquarium supplies or home brewing stuff should have it, loads of sellers on EBay too. Place it over the shafts of the pots and you can easily pull them into place again.
TV Jones sell a kit with the tubing for rewiring guitars without an access plate; it also includes a tool for attaching to the jack socket. Depending on where you are located postage might make it too expensive.

@@edwinstovall3334 The truth is that the electronics in an electric guitar (and most amps) are SHOCKINGLY low tech. I think people get in their minds that "technology is daunting" and difficult but in the case of changing a pickup or a capacitor--there is really NOT that much to it. A wire and a dot of solder. Most of these parts initially (back in the 50s) were made from parts intended for other industries. Telephones, record players, cars, radios. Very low tech.

My first e guitar was a ES-335 too Austin. My parents bought that and a Fender Twin custom having Altec Lancing speakers. After that, 1 real Tellicaster. After them, I built my stuff and never went back. I kept making my own electric guitars better then their stuff. I even made speaker cabinets better-suited for my sound systems.
Now I do have some PA amps rated at 350, 750 and a 1,000 watts of amplifier madness. I still might still want my 750 for the recording studio I built then remodeled or decided to change a board or mixer. Equipment does get old.
I'm moving my prototype Telli and changing it's look to something more tasteful and something new for a 5-string bass using a 32" inch scale instead of 34" like Fender's P-bass. I share pictures of them in the raw state, I'm still carving my neck stock. The bodies are just on the carpet. That's what I like doing.
That guitar, your new red 335 was supposed to work best with the original Jenson speakers. Not Altec's, but JBL's D123e built in the 70s then the 2130 JBL had made a loud improvements that I liked the best with a small 50 watt head using EL-34s and the ES-335 is gone. But I'm making a ES-175 Floraltine horn with Flowtron pickups, plus a Bigsby Bar all in brass and Angerburst colors, my first of maybe smaller? I just need to think when my first 10 are done?

I usually don't care for semi-hollow guitars and have yet to buy one, but this one really looks great! I still won't buy one, but now it's because pickup-swapping is so close to impossible! That doesn't mean that pickup-swapping is necessary for this guitar; its pickups are probably just fine or better, but I usually look at these things with mods in mind. Regardless, this guitar really seems special. Mark my words, Austin -- you're NOT selling that one! I'D keep it, and you like it better than I do!

Tone pro's brass roller bridge, And I know, boo hiss, Emg Zakk Wilde 81 and 85's. With the 24 volt mod. I have a 64 set up like that and it is amazing. The guitar howls, screams and has the most crystal clear clean tones. I have always wished that i could have heard Roy Clark, play through a set of EMG's and a Mark lV. To swap the pick-ups, Tie a string around the shaft of the pot, then pull it through, swap and pull it back,it's easy. Mason line works well.

If you are a the kind of guy who loves a multitasker (carries a Leatherman in your pocket) then the 335 is for sure your guitar. Likely the single most versatile guitar ever made. Is it better than a LP for Lp tones? No but you can get LP tones. Is it better than a Gretch for Gretch tones? Nope but they are in there. I can go on and on but you get it--a very very versatile guitar and #1 on my list of "if you could only have one electric"

I know what you mean even though my first SG was a cheap knock off I still have a love for them. I spent a lot of time tweaking that guitar to get it where it was decently playable. Adversity when I saw th61 reissue you had I decided to buy it. When I saw they Pelham blue model you had on your sight although it looked gray on my end. I was pleasantly surprised. I've seen things painted that color or a shade of that color and didnt like it . I didnt know how good it looked in person. I've been picking on it since the day it was delivered. I'm jealous though of that 335. I have a red dot pro that is all red . But that one you have looks awsome. I think they should've done the whole guitar where the black is on the guitar it looks like the red is bleeding through or peeking through as you said about the area on the headstock. That guitar you reviewed is the kind of guitar you'll want to roll your knobs back a little and use a floor volume gain pedal.

Yeah this finish is absolutely killer honestly I prefer this offer the teardrop it just looks awesome and that thing rocks well too.
Burstbucker or semours and it will be a very very good axe

Austin, its not often we witness such enthusiasm from you for a new guitar!
Glad you were actually moved by this instrument, if only all of them could be like that.
    Congrats

You should get a luthier to make a custom fretboard like they were in the game

Nice 335, the color scheme works well on it. Sounded pretty good too. Plus you got the bonus of the extra pickups!

Think you need to look up the difference between a satin finish and a matte finish, like that pinstripe one you keep referring to.

I think you got lucky not getting the BB61's. I can't stand the sound of the 61T and have removed it from my Standard.

That's a pretty sick 335! Also, if the Trogly's Gaming Show bit wasn't a joke, I'd absolutely be down for that. I absolutely loved Shining Diamond, and I love watching people share in that same sorta sense of nostalgia

I'm a Les Paul guy, but god damn is that the most perfect and beautiful ES-335 I've EVER seen!, and it sounds amazing on top of it!. It would make a great sibling to my Slash Vermillion burst Les Paul!

I dont care for the burst, but I could overlook that detail. Im just really into the finishes of the 50s and 60s. That guitar is cherry or natural would have me drooling. A "Black Beauty"..Yum! LP Custom in Silverburst...meh.
