I bought my first Dimond C a few weeks ago. I mentioned it to a "pro" that I was introduced to and he called them garbage lol. I'm like have you seen one? EVER? About an hour later he recanted his statement!🤣 Thanks for the video!!
Every trailer that I own is a Diamond C. I will NOT own any other trailer, ever.
Thumbs up for the 6 speed dodge. Couldn’t get me to trade my 6 speed 2nd gen for a new one. Just need a Diamond C to put behind it.
I couldn’t agree with this comment more!!!! I love my 6 speed 2.5 gen. Eventually I’m gonna have a whole fleet of Diamond C trailers to pair up with it.
Obviously you don’t own a new truck or haul heavy with mountains.
@@mikemiller9119 obviously no I don’t. I also don’t have a ridiculous truck payment or emissions to deal with and cause issues. No mountains here in Texas just plenty of hills.
@@MFW1996 I’ve had both. The emissions aren’t an issue anymore besides the industry collaborating to raise the prices of DEF.
The gains the trucks today can haul with reliability are far better than these old trucks. Sure, they come with a hefty price tag, but I’d rather have a truck that will do all without even breaking a sweat and having so many less trips for major repairs. So you can either pay at the mechanic shop and get the same truck you began with or you can pay at the dealer and let your mechanic forget who you are.
@@mikemiller9119 I am my mechanic. Emissions are better now, but far from perfect. They are the main cause of a lot of major repairs these days. New trucks are capable, but I can do just the same with my truck and have more fun doing so listening to her actually breathe and shifting my own gears. A 5” straight pipe and a 6 speed are wonderful things, they keep a smile on my face. Couldn’t say the same in a brand new truck.
I bought a diamond c dump trailer in December. MDT - much lighter-duty than this one, but also with telescoping dump. Love it so far! What's happening here with the 3rd stage (also happens to me the other day) is that the pump is running out of hydraulic fluid. It has nothing to do with the ability of the system to dump a heavy load. People just need to check their hydraulic level, or (since most ppl won't do that), build the hydraulic tank with extra high capacity.
It is really cool to see a manufacturer do this to prove the equipment. Only in the great state of Texas! Thank you. I know what brand I am buying!
That is a beautiful trailer! Almost hated to see it get dirty! Great test! 5 tons overloaded I’m 100% impressed! I have see other videos of the design, materials, construction, care and concern of what your employees put into the building of the trailers. Clearly you guys are making the very best trailers in America! I would love to visit your factory some day.
Awesome 👏
This was probably the best video they put out so far!
Thanks
That is a sweet truck Mr. Crabb! I just bought a 2003 with twice as many miles and the no emissions 5.9 and 6 speed manual are a huge breath of fresh air compared to my first diesel a 2016 Duramax.
Wow that’s awesome! Great video! Thank you for making this, by far you guys make my favorite trailers.
You guys, taking the time to do this video makes me want to go with a Diamond C for my next trailer. There are to many people who open their mouth with no basis. Love your Debunk!!!
Awesome I love my LPT I never doubted that it would dump it …. I saw the other video I personally think it was low on fluid and this is why his stopped on the third stage … Diamond C 💪!!!
You’re the man. Great trailer design that delivers. 👍🏼
Just picked up my 18000# LPT last week and had to haul 2 loads right away with it! First impressions are this trailer is going to exceed my needs! Which makes the wait and few extra dollars spent to build it exactly how I wanted extremely worth it. Good work Diamond C!!
Awesome video theres no better way to test the product than a real life video not a fake comercial proud of you and your videos
Please do more videos like this showing the trailers in action! Love it
Thank you so much!! 10,000lbs (5 Tons) overweight very impressive. I WILL be placing an order! Diamond C is the truth. Thank you again wish I was there to hear what the engineers say I hope you guys have an amazing year.
Best video to date!! Looking good 👍
The quarry once accidentally put 14K lbs of base rock in my 10K MDT. I could tell from my tires I had too much and was a little shocked when I saw the weight. I circled back around from the scale and was able to dump the excess NO PROBLEM. The telescopic lift never even flinched.
Super nice Trailer! Thanks for sharing...😎👍
Great video. I ordered that exact trailer and it just came in last week and haven't picked it up yet. But very excited and happy to see my set up in use and working great beyond it's designed limits. Thank you for all your videos and your involvement in the company. This will be my 2nd Dimond C trailer and excited to pick it up and add it to my business.
Alex if u don’t mind me asking I’m looking into getting one just like this dump trailer. What was the price tag on it.
Thats a great tare weight for that trailer. Good video. I have an LPX 18k rated equipment trailer and we love it. very well built. Thank you!
Man that hats bad ass I like that man I got the shirt to match that keep up the good work man
Business in the front party in the back🤣👌 Thanks for the video and info on the telescopic ram, makes sense why there on simi dumps. I need one just like the video but in work truck white.
Great video. Very nice and well built trailers.
I've owned 3 Texas Pride trailers. Diamond C hands down blows them away.
No doubt in my mind, Diamond C is the best!!
Great video! It is nice to see what they can handle if you accidentally put a little to much in.
Looks like an awesome trailer!
nice demo, thx.
That is impressive. I have virtually the exact same trailer, even the color, but mine is the scissor. You’re exactly right when you said it would have quit as soon as you hit the up button haha. That being said it has been a kick ass dump trailer.
Awesome video
Good video! You basically tested what everyone is going to do to a trailer overload them.
I’m impressed. I bought a big Tex 25DU (gooseneck dual tandem, 25,800gvwr) and owned it for 3 months before getting corporate to buy it back. It was a complete turd. Couldn’t lift most loads places in it, especially if you dared to go forward of the axles.
Congratulations! A video is worth 2000 words.
Don't have the truck to pull the LPT but ordering the MDT soon! Nice job!
I can see in the future the mother of all dump trailers from diamond c with twin triple stage telescopics.
Awsome, have a blessed day América
Own two Diamond C trailers. Getting ready to buy an FMax Gooseneck. Best trailers I’ve ever owned. Love the quality!!!
Bigtime Diamond C fan here. When i hit the lotto i plan on buying multiple Diamond C trailers including this trailer. I would however tweak it a bit more on the OP side like (2) hydro lifts in center instead of one, etc. I have a farm and live in an area in Ms where we have very little options for dirt and gravel. If we want the good stuff like limestone the truckers here charge $900 per load but if i had a trailer like this i could simply go to the spot the truckers go and get the trailer filled for $300. I missed out on so many ops here with free highly rich topsoil that was free if i could pick it up but i had to hire truckers and that cost me $150 per load.
I would be more than happy to test your trailers out.
My dream trailer!!
3 times now i heard you use the word persnickety...Rock on haven't heard that word long time .Makes me 😃
Getting my 5x10 tomorrow, glad I chose the right brand 😎
That as impressive! Definitely want one now. With my scissor lift 14k dump, anything over rated capacity will not lift , until you shovel some out first
Brag away sir ! 🤙🏻
I saw this same test performed elsewhere. I thought the dual cylinder trailer would be strongest. I was surprised. I'm buying a dump trailer. Best believe it will have a telescoping cylinder.
Diamond C are very good trailers. i have owned one built strong. They have however became way over priced . You can buy a premium built trailer to the specs you would like for the same money as a factory trailer. But this was a good test it shows how good they are.
I really like your trailer
Heck I love my 7.3l f250 2000 model I feel ya on that the older the vehicle the better mines still standing strong almost 300,000
biggest thing i have seen with overload dump trailers, are the rear axle and/or frames bending.
Good example good trailer
What is the max dump angle? Do you have a wireless remote option? You guys build excellent trailers.
nice my friend
When I get ready to buy my dump trailer. You just sold me. Going to buy diamond C. Thanks for the video. One last thing what was the name of that trailer and size. Because for what I’m needing the trailer to do. That one would be perfect. Thanks again.
The person who made the false claims increased your sales exponentially lol.
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇸🙏
Thank you for sharing
I’m sold
I have watched the video that showed this style trailer stall on third stage. However I read between the lines, you can clearly hear there was battery issues when they tested the dump. This is all in trick videos to make your product look better. John Deere is known for these fake videos of a Deere skid steer lifting 6500 pounds and than Cat, and Case Tryin to lift the same load and fail, however John Deere never pushes the load against the mast with the competition putting the center of gravity out more.. We call this tactic CNN or MSNBS.. lol
Great video brother. My business owns two Load Trails goosenecks but I love the Diamond C quality as well.
Can you do a video showing how the axles and springs are affected by overloading? I have a 16' GN with the 207 and wonder how the setup will do if I overload it by 1,000-1,500 lbs (short haul 5-10 miles moving my mini-ex)
You guys make great trailers. I would buy a MAXXD or Diamond C without hesitation for any of my jobs. Good video boss.
Be careful with a maxxD they split apart
Good test of almost double the rating. See why you need the super singles? lol The scissors will lift a big load if it is mounted far enough forward. However, that also limits the dump angle.
really appreciate your informative video's , a dump trailer has been on my list for a couple of years . obviously price is always a factor but with your tour of the paint line , telescopic lift , ect there isnt anyone on the market that comes close to your quality from what i see. it will be worth the extra expense for the quality . do you offer a 16' dump with a 3 way gate , telescopic cyl and a side door to load pallets and large boulders up front with forks ? will want a goosneck as well
I’ve got an 03 6 speed 3500 I’ll never get rid of it. 5.9’s just keep winning
Testing the fuck out that trailer, probably the best selling video I’ve seen… I got 2 Texas prides but once I pay them off thinking of getting diamond c trailers
should have the max tipping capacity in front of the axles in the specs if you dont already, possibly a image with the capacity depending on the location
Do a torture test on the 20ft wdt gas power dump trailer !!!!
Plz
Another great video thanks for debunking myth. I have full faith on 💎 C quality. Question I bought one similar to this one but did not get the option for hydraulic Jack stands can I buy that at a later time ? And how about the work light package can I also buy that later ?
Thank you!
Yes you can buy those parts after the fact. Your dealer should be able to help you out. The hydraulic jack conversion is a little more involved than adding the work lights but can be done. 👍
While watching this and seeing the lpt in action and seeing it lift I had a question pop in my head with the way you mount the cylinder in the center could you put dual cylinder mount and move them out over the frame rails and have it as a option for lpt and the wdt for the people who believe in over kill while building and ordering trailer I mean we know now one will lift more the recommend so two has to be better correct??
When I go to pick up dirt at the yard i always ask what is the weight per yard. On a dump trailer load placement is key.
Good call! Definitely want to know what the weight per yard is. Keep in mind it varies depending on moisture content (which I’m sure you know 😁). The awesome thing about the LPT is that it is not nearly as persnickety about load placement and dumping as a scissor lift or dual cylinder setup is.
Great video nice trailer, but I have to stick with Double A Made in Alberta. But if I lived in Texas
Now make an engineered neck deck over dump with the telescopic actuator, and that’ll be one sweet jack of all trades trailer, oh and what’s up with you’re website
My only concern was the extreme bow in the cylinder at full extension. It would seem that the cylinder could e entualoy failure due to the repeated bow and flexing under load.
Good eye! It is the product of the wide angle lens of the GoPro. At some points it appears that way but as does the top of the trailer too. 😁 The cylinder was definitively good and straight. 👍
Could you add some kind of scale to the trailer so you know the weight at all time? We have them on our air ride trailers but wasn’t sure without air ride if they could be added.
I had 7 by 14 with 32 inch side loaded to top and never had a problem people would tell it is never going to dump hope Is brought shovels I would laugh at push the button and watch dump then at time I had 20,000 lbs in my trailer best I have ever owned
No sure what's more impressive
The trailer being so over loaded and it handled it like nothing.
Trailer dumps it like it's nothing.
Think we may need to see the where limit is of the trailer in a future video.
Great trailers
Does the cylinder have a bow in it all the way up or am I seeing things
Great video thanks
Good eye! It is the product of the wide angle lens of the GoPro. At some points it appears that way but as does the top of the trailer too. 😁 The cylinder was definitively good and straight. 👍
I need one
I have had the issue that the person describes, where it won't push the smaller stages. If your battery is low, the pump has trouble pushing the other stages. I ran into this getting some loam (black dirt) and realized I should have plugged it in the night before.
Thank you for the feedback! That makes sense that it was a battery charge issue and not a lifting power issue. 👍👊
Is that trailer for sale? Now that it's used?
HELL I WAS ALREADY SOLD !!!!
Jacob if I purchased you a pair of gloves,,, would you where them?
I’ve noticed you unloading equipment hooking up equipment and you never where gloves. I know that you can afford the gloves but are you going to use them ?

Your telescopic hoist nearly unable to tip the dump vessel despite the front end being not loaded as much as the rear end. The same thing will happen even if the hoist is an under-floor scissor tipping hoist mainly because dump vessel "tipping pivot" is at the very tail end of vessel sub-frame. Moving the "tipping pivot" forward to create some two feet overhang will provide (defending on the length of the dump vessel) substantial "counter weight" to lessen the load on the front end telescopic hoist. For a low mounted dump vessel overhang is almost cannot be done because the rear end of the body and the hanging tailgate (pivoted at the top) will "dig-in" into the ground. For a forward pivot location to work in a low mounted body construction is to have a sloping upward floor towards the end of the body. The sloping upward floor however will require a greater tipping angle of the final end of the floor equal to the angle of repose of the materials to be handled.
I bought your 20 ft dump with scissor wish it had the single cylinder option mine will barely dump 4 ton is there a way to turn up my pump
I'd be curious if the comments come from owners who have the "Premium Hydraulics" brand of telescopic lift? Those units were painfully slow and why I ordered my trailer with a 6/20 hoist. Looks like all the new trailers coming out have a Stillwell telescopic hoist. Maybe the Stillwells are stronger and faster?
Still would like to see a video timing the cycles times of your hoist options. 5/15 vs. 6/20 vs. Telescopic vs. 13hp Honda gas powered telescopic.
The problem is the 2 gallon per minute pumps, including the gas powered one. The dump industry needs to address that. I added a second pump to mine, 16' x 22k PJ. As expected, it is twice as fast. I ordered it with two batteries, so I had that covered. For commercial use and one battery, the group 24 is just too small as is the group 27. For one battery, I recommend the group 31 w/950-1100 cca. If you want to see really slow, watch a big deckover dually with a twin cylinder scissors hoist.
@Nick Isaacs are you able to use just the one solenoid to operate both pumps? Allowing you to use just one dump switch and possibly one remote?
Thanks for the tip on the group 31 battery.
BTW my standard 5/15 hoist will dump much more than the trailers legal capacity and is 45 seconds faster on an up down cycle time than my 6/20 hoist. 45 seconds x 4 loads a day x 5 days a week starts to add up.🤷♂️
@@lukeshurtleff9770 I see no reason you can't use just one system for both pumps, that was my original plan but since the new pump had the control, I decided to keep it. That way you can use one or the other or both. I did install a hose between the tanks so they can self level. When you do a partial dump and set the bed back down you need to use just one control or it comes down too fast and will still overflow one tank. My equalizer hose is a little too small, 3/8".
I agree on the 5" hoist being faster. That was on my 16' 14k Load trail, much quicker than my 6" trailers. It is all about the volume of the cylinders v/s the small pumps.
FWI, if you accidently get too much on and it won't lift (it happens, Lol) I use a two foot tire iron between the frames and help it. It usually don't take much to help it get off the bottom. 2" or 3" and they are good to go.
Would have been interesting to see what the weight was over the axles on this load
looking to buy my 2 trailers
I would like to to a show down between you guys and ranch king!!
when i go to get any aggregate at any place i always ask the weight per unit or yard .
when i go to pick up a load i ask what is the weight per yard.
SweeeeeT 😋👊😎
Can you please add scales to these trailers??
Do you have any trailer like that used cheap for sale lol 😅
Do you offer hot dipped galvanized?
As long as you're taking requests I'll take a DOD telescopic, can't get one ordered right now
Dealers said they don't have any DOD allocations at this time
To my knowledge, no company makes a DOD with telescopic. For standard 14-16ft lengths, scissor is perfectly adequate. I believe Ironbull has DODs on dealer lots (they did this summer fwiw) -
Is that 32” sides or 44” sides.
That cylinder looked extremely bowed when fully exteneded im assuming that was from being overloaded??
Good eye! The cylinder remained 100% straight. What you’re seeing is actually an illusion due to the wide angle lens of the go pro. If you notice in some frames it appears that way and in others it doesn’t, same thing with the top rail or top edge of the trailer.
What's the price on that exact trailer?
I gotta try that my was little little bit more than that and this trailer looks like a slaughter going up my camper a super Elenas good trailer
Wish I had it instead of my big Tex. Big Tex size shit.
Nice Trailer! What color is it?
Thank you! That is Cement Gray.
Can it survive raining session
