Impressive trailer!
One improvement that I would suggest is storage for the remote that doesn’t require opening the box. If I have stuff stored on the top, I wouldn’t want to have to unload it to use the remote.
I would suggest a wireless remote and not worry about the wired one, it is much better, wouldn't want to be without mine! Have a good one!!

I love how you got rid of the chains to secure the doors. Working long hours I slipped and missed chaining one door which led to bending the hinges. Your new design helps to fix that mistake
Awesome trailers, I think it would be beneficial to have the doors open all the way and sit flush with the sides when pinned or latched open..

I like the concept of the Deck over Dump trailers, you guys have, b/c the idea of being able to
lower the sides to put on skids, but also use the trailer for a small piece of equipment,
or dumping brush/dirt, seems extremely practical, & make's it a good "jack of all trades"
kind of trailer to a degree.
Look forward to seeing it updated for the better. Maybe theirs a way to get it slightly lower to the ground for
better load angles?

Woo Hoo, I am excited too, awesome upgrades! Now for the biggie....Most of my dumps are spread, so deck height with the bed up is critical. I would like to see bed dump hinges at the rear of the bed. The current overhang built into most dumps will put it (the bed) on the ground at times. Such as suspension compression, soft ground, or if the tow truck is on a higher plane than the trailer. With the strength of the telescopic lift, you don't need the bed overhang to help offset the front end weight.
Even dumping with the open barn doors, the overhang can cause issues. Such as firewood dumping. It will flow/fall under the bed, then as you continue to lift the bed, it encounters your material and interferes with the lifting. To the point your bed /lights and etc are subject to damage.
Looks too pretty to even use it!😂 Nice rig and tarp system! Maybe a dump utility trailer in the line up?

Hi, love the new design and features . I’m interested in a getting a MDT first and just wondering if that model will eventually have some of the new features like tarp and pump configuration as well?
one suggestion i can make is: put the battery in its own plastic box to protect the terminals from short-circuits and acid spillage damage: makes for a dangerous situation that is easily and cheaply preventable. a box similar to what you might put on a small boat would be more than sufficient.
You guys make the best trailers, some of your dealers are real price gougers though. With that said I got my 23' LPT on order with the dealer I bought my last Diamond C, out of state.
Love the new rear wing door latch..... my only concern is needing to dump in narrow places or laying gravel. The angle even still on them doors latched open add blinding feet to the trailers overall width. A two joint hinge knuckle would allow that same great latch system to tuck the door behind the fenders so the trailers width foot print isn't wider and you can still see what's behind you past your gates.

Wanted to touch on spreading. The gate does have a spreader feature where it is hinged at the top and includes a small chain to be able to meter the spread.
I use my 2022 LPT every day. Best dump around.

Hi Jacob, I would like to see how fast the new telescopic lift is compared to the old version. Is there a video that I can take a look at? Also how long is the wait time to take ownership of a dump trailer after I order one on your website?
Deck on tounge with Telescope best addition! Manual tarp bar with tight ratcheting lever 100 percent the best idea vs. electric tarp junk less parts to fail and fall off. And nice job designing the rear gate latches very cool. The beefed up depth of tounge and box area looks stout, more strength there and a deep storage area right?

I'm planning on buying a MDT soon as i think you are the best in the industry. I wish the tarp system was available on the MDT. Should I wait as you might make it an option in the future? Keep up the improvements.
Planning to get a dump trailer next year. Will a 16’ one carry a kubota kx033? I need a single trailer that can do everything and I wanna buy the best. Diamond c is very well reviewed and seem to be tuff

Love the tarp system and those rear latches, very nice additions. Not a fan of that jack location, love the hydraulic jack I have that is basically where your lift cylinder is, never need to worry about dropping the tailgate on to or in to the jack..... Everything else makes this nearly perfect, have a good one!!

need a small cox reel for the power cord with auto retract and moving hinges outboard so doors are flush with fenders
I'm curious how well the tarp system will function when people build out 2' front and sides with wood. I'm assuming the tarp just wont fall all the way down to the rear without some type of extension?

Unfortunately no, it wouldn't fit on the older dump trailers.

Hi there! Thank you for your feedback.
We can do the 4’ sides but as of January 2023 the gas motor option is discontinued due to such low take rate by customers. Also it is a conflict with the new tongue design. We would suggest adding a second battery or hooking up a direct feed from the tow vehicle if you plan on non stop extended use. 👍

I'm in the process of purchasing a new trailer from your company from a dealer in Alberta. They haven't made the order yet. I'm planning to have a 7x14 telescopic lift 7gauge steal. Will this be what is yet now or will it be the old version? As you and others mention the tarp system is a lot nicer. My order should hopefully be placed within the next month

As I'm building a bumper tow LPT on you site I noticed that jumping from 8k axles to 10k axles it seems the 10k uses engineered frame vs. 8k axles uses stright beam above axles? If so whats the bed load height from ground to dump bed differences from 8k axles to 10k axles? I'm trying to build the highest payload, lightest trailer, lowest deck height..haha thanks for your help.
8K drop axles is 24” bed height with 81” bed width.
8K straight axle is 28” bed height with 82” bed width.
10K is straight axle only with 28” bed height and 82” bed width.
I put in an order for a 2023 mdt will the mdt have any of these new features?

Is that tarp available as a retrofit for the previous year models?
It will become available after the new model goes live. It will require some fabrication and pint touch up to retrofit. 👍
I always add a Buyers or similar brand, spring loaded dump truck aluminum tarp swing arms, same type thing, haven’t had trailer without arms since 2016. I used the existing tarp that came with the trailer. You just don’t want to let go of the handle.

Power up and power down is a game changer for these. Secondly, the new rear gate latching system is great. Keep it up. I could not be happier with the direction Diamond C is going. I am surprised to not see an auto up/down on the coupler jack though.

I just cant justify spending $22,000 + on a gooseneck 16' dump on 7k axles. Where is the extra $10k going from where most other dump are priced?
