- The Tomb of Suleiman the Magnificent is in the Süleymaniye Mosque Cemetery. We can see the türbes (tombs) of Süleyman and his wife Haseki Hürrem in the cemetery of the Süleymaniye Mosque complex. The form of the Süleymans mausoleum is octagonal and surrounded by columns. The walls of the interior are covered with beautiful tiles from the Iznik manufactory. Süleyman became sultan in 1520 at the age of 25. He ruled until his death in 1566.
The türbe of Haseki Hürrem, the wife of the Sultan is smaller but decorated with beautiful blue white Iznik tiles. The türbe is dated 1558. She is also known as Roxelana because of her Ukrainian origin, the powerful women in the history of the Ottoman Empire.

Are their bodies really in there?
Yes its their tomb
Yeah, a body in the tent.
What do u think?
Who else lies there with the sultan? Who donthe smaller coffins belon to?
Is it possible to open coffins to see how did they look like in reality?
No, it is against law and their religion
No u r clearly disrespecting the dead even though their soul is no longer there
Their body is buried under those coffins, so nothing left from them.
Islam's version of Alexander the Great
Place of death Szigetvár Hungary not Hungart!
The bodies inside the coffin or buried under ground like other Muslims
Buried
Buried, the coffin is just a showpiece
Isn't like building a shrine not allowed in islam?
Actually this is tomb. They are actually lying under this not inside of this .They were greeved into the soil

Anything can happen for the royals sometimes , lol
Ottomans didn't fully follow islam anyway.. Like keeping slave women to produce heir instead of a respectable marriage..So anything is possible.
