  • Time for my April reset! I've been doing these monthly reset videos since January and have been loving the monthly goal setting! It gives me motivation and a target to strive for, which has been really helpful for me. In this video I also tackle a household reset task that has been nagging at me for months! I also get our April budget set up so we can start the month strong.

    So I struggle with eating things I really don’t want to eat. I don’t know if you feel like you’re craving carbs, but if you eat carbs, you will constantly be craving them. So cutting them out as much as possible has taken away my cravings for them. The second thing I’d try is to food prep. Buying individual meal containers on Amazon and portioning out each meal makes it super easy: just pop it in the microwave and it’s ready. Prep at the start of each week. Do this for all three meals if possible, or at least breakfast and lunch. I watch Home with Hailey here on CZcams, and she has lost almost 70# doing this on WW. I’ve learned a lot from her.
    As regards Mediums, I’d avoid them and anything Occultic like the plague. There are indeed spirits, but they are not those who have died, but rather evil angels/demons who, to put it mildly, do not have your best interests in mind. Not sure of your beliefs, but I know this to be fact. Not something to be messed with.

      I do that, with food.. mostly chips, but I purposely buy small bags like the ones sold at the register so that limits how much I eat and I even try to makes them last longer but eating half with a sandwich for lunch…lol

      I used to be very much “ into mediums” especially one show in particular.
      But understanding now, I completely agree. My faith journey has become a huge part of my daily life in recent years. That to me is very important. Thankyou for bringing this up, sometimes I just don’t know how to.

      The odd thing to me is that I'm not really craving anything specific. It's more of a habit-type thing this time around. I've found a few sweet treat recipes I love that are AIP compliant and a bunch of meal recipes I love as well. I almost always have AIP meals ready to eat in the fridge or freezer from batch cooking and leftovers but it's almost like I'm being stubborn and saying "nope, I'm having XYZ instead." I really think it's just going to take a mindset shift...going from "I can't have these things" (which leads to wanting them more just because I'm telling myself I can't), to "I CAN have them but they'll just come with a headache, fatigue, and body aches for the rest of the day." Definitely a work in progress :) I used to watch Hailey as well but with my Hashimoto's diagnosis, my need to eat wholesome foods has become more than just losing weight and I have learned so much about what foods (even low WW point foods) do to our body that it's hard for me to watch WW/dieting type videos anymore. Definitely happy for her that she has had success with her weight loss though!

    Every getting it all done video was like, well, didn’t get to Rivers clothes again.. but hey, he’s not worried about it ☺️

      His drawers looks soo nice. Really love the konmarie fold. How you could see everything in the drawer. I fold our tshirts with the back of the shirt having the folded crease, if that makes sense soo that you get a peak of which shirt it is from the side.. due to the fact that we own a lot of black graphic Tees.

      Continue to do that, yes.. more often. How nice to have your sister and be able to do that, once a month is good.
      Do you think you could schedule a child to like to take out and just spend that time with them individually..? I think you had mentioned that before with just the girls.

      Lol!!! Yep, I think the fact that the clothes not being put away didn't affect him was why that task kept getting pushed to the back burner 😂
      I also love being able to see what's in the drawer. I've been folding this way ever since the Konmari series was on Netflix years ago and I'll never go back to anything else lol!
      Very thankful for my sister for sure! And yes we do still want to take each of the girls to do something with just Anthony and I. I'm thinking we may try to do them all in one day where the first half of the day is with one of them and the second half is with the other. That way my sister only has to commit to 1 day of watching them lol!
