I I've been watching a lot of hunting videos lately, especially sheep. I was lucky enough to fill a Desert tag in 2021. I watched the ram hunt in Wyoming first. That video shows you getting a Stone just before that Rocky. I'm thinking how lucky you are to have 2 of the 4. And then I watch this video. What! You have filled at least two Rocky tags and a Stone. What! Strong work! Embrace the suck, for sure.
Great hunt Julie. What a great ram. There is nothing like sheep hunting. Nice informative video for those that have never been Sheep hunting. Nice to see another woman doing it also.
Jordan.... videos are getting few and far between.... We love your work and want to see more of it... I'll never get to hunt sheep... it sure is cool watching someone else give it a try... Love the music in the back ground.... you do good work.
Mike. Been a busy year filming and growing two businesses as well as some life changes. I've got personal hunts on the doc this year and plan on kicking out a lot more content. In the meantime if you haven't, head to the Rokslide youtube channel and watch the "Original Films" playlist. I filmed and edited them all. Thanks for the support!
He was captured and collared by ID Game and Fish to study Bighorn behavior, is what I was told. They do it to elk and deer as well, just a way to study migration and such.
@@LMvdB02 sheep are not protected nor endangered. Hunters actually brought them back from the brink of extinction. Hunters contribution more to conservation $ than any other group. As far as sheep hunts go they are highly regulated, very few tags are offered, and only the oldest males are harvested each year.
Love seeing a hard working woman appreciate hunting. Congratulations! Hard work for all of you.

Why did they remove the collar? Great video. Thanks for sharing.
It actually came off when he rolled down the hill
Why were they drilling into the horns and then putting a plug in?
Did you guys find the collar?

No disrespect on a great ram, but why does it have an ear tag?

It's a protected species that they allow to be hunted for some reason. Crazy.
