He was referencing the Austin race where he waited to get on the brake and it screwed him because the flagger didn’t go to him as expected. So his reason was perfectly reasonable which is why I agreed with him. If it was detrimental to the car or run I would have pushed the point more but it was literally a preference since it’s doesn’t impact my start settings and doesn’t heat up the trans too much.
