Asriel came back from the surface, infected with humans virus that affects monsters in different way, slowly sucking energy out of their souls, he falls down on the flowers dusting and these flowers getting viruses on themselves. Considering that many monsters in the underground love golden flowers tea, most of them would get infected. Frisk is falling down in the ruins, which is somewhat normal but there's no monsters, not a single one. Imagine further if you want xd
they ended tragically but their determination and hope were always there♡
I think Asriel is my favorite character. He just wanted a happy life with Chara and his family.
