    *First of all, you need to raise your price!* Perhaps $2, OR,.... maybe make larger packs holding a dozen & sell that pack for $5.
    I cannot believe this is the *first time* I've ever seen a tutorial for these! Love the idea!! Thank you for sharing.

      @@bringittolifewithgail1338 Although you made this video over 3 years ago, amazing what inflation has done. I have seen the 4 for $3 per bag. And I have seen people sell them $1 for 1.

    I LOVE your lovely little magnets. I think that you could sell these for $3.00. You put much work into these and they are well worth it. $1.00 is way too low. Your crafts are lovely and for a gift, $3.00 is not expensive. Love your video! I want more Thanks.

  • @wolfhowl5691
    @wolfhowl5691 Před 5 lety +1

    Very cute!.. But i agree with so many other people's comments here - $1.00 is not enough for all your work and materials! I think $3.00 for 4 magnets is still well worth it.

  • @ericfile
    @ericfile Před 8 lety +2

    I agree----those magnet strips are never sticky enough to hold, especially something heavier like the glass beads.

  • @SoCali_Surfer
    @SoCali_Surfer Před 5 lety +3

    Very nice and a good tutorial. Girl, you need to increase your prices dramatically! You are not even breaking even! Add (round up) the price of the materials. Don't think, "Well, I already had the gift wrap, I already had the hole puncher, etc." If someone saw these at the craft fair, they might think to themselves that they would like to make their own. But then they quickly add up while I'll have to buy a paper puncher that's going to be at least $10. I'm have to going to get two packages of holiday paper that's going to be $4 there, I'm going to have to get a glue gun and some glue sticks, Etc. So there you see that they can't just go home and make them just because you think they're easy and you have your assembly line down. You have to think about how much is your time worth. Your time is setting up all the different parts preparing your whole assembly line getting out the glue gun, the glue sticks, the mod podge, the hole puncher, the magnet strips Etc. It all adds up really, really quick and people are willing to pay, because you're making a quality item.

      Laura Mai. Soooo true!!! Some of us are very crafty people......my sister is not and when we go to craft fairs she buys whatever she "likes" regardless of what the actual components to make the item cost. A piece of wood covered with enough sealed glitter to make a star GORGEOUS for $30....sure why not? Her go to...."I'm working ain't I?" Crafters should not charge what they or some cheap critic would pay....charge the creations worth based on investment of time materials and genius AS WELL AS the perceived value based on the show and its target audience. I often poll 10 or 20 family n friends (labor day picnic or Halloween party) and use the average! These are great and could easily go in the buck fifty or 5 for$5 bucket !

    I was reading comments below about the price.I wouldn't go over $ 1.50. The reason why, is because u could buy these at Target for 1.00.
    So, you don't want to over price them either, even if they are homemade. Im not trying to offend anybody. I'm just been honest. If I saw these at a craft fair for $ 3.00 . I would keep on walking .in my head why paid $ 3.00 then I could buy at Target for $ 1.00.., 1.50 ok. I would buy for $1.50.

    What a super cute idea for those who just want to make to give as gifts to teachers, co workers, etc. Teachers, office workers always need magnets. Love them. You can also do themes to go with the person you want to give to. I am not one to go make these to sell, but honestly I have to agree with some of the ladies that $1.00 is too low. Of course, if you do these for the kids to buy like a school fair then I think that is fair. If ti's a craft fair at a commercial building then I increase the price, $2.00 even lowest should be $1.50. Love this idea.
