Admittedly, I think a Code Monkeys timeskip series could work very well.
    "Code Monkeys 2000"
Instead of having it take place in the 80s and making fun of stereotypes from then, have it take place 20 years later and parody Spike, G4, and other 2000s gaming culture. They could even parody the Wii and how big its launch was.

@@j.2512 Same man. I hated all of that war that happened in the middle of nowhere that had literally no impact on my life whatsoever.
I hated how 2000s was the most expressive and varied decade in terms of music with all genres and indie stuff being everywhere which let you listen to anything you ever wanted from metal, pop, jazz, hip hop, classical, rock, etc, etc. Take me back to the 90s where 80% of the music was trashy tv rap instead.
I hated how the 2000s was the last decade in history with an actual strong sense of style and identity with new ideas and genres coming up everywhere in all media along with people still being young, energetic, and creative. I hated how every single artist and creator had just enough technology and budget to fully realize their artistic vision without being overburdened by the greedy higher ups. Take me back to the good old days of the 90s when 70% of movies, tv shows, and games were canceled due to a fight between the creator and the corporation.
I FUCKING hated how the internet was at its peak with fuck ton of interesting stories from different users, unique websites that were designed in never seen style and functions, and youtube being an actual place for people who wanted to create something new with tons of original and passionate video projects everywhere. Same thing with people who did everything out of passion instead of money. God what would I do to go to the golden era of the 90s where one page kept leading for 2 hours and where interesting internet culture didn't exist yet instead.
To this day I'm seething because of all of those memories of hot, cute, and attractive goth/emo girls that you could find everywhere and guys who dressed in cool and stylish clothing inspired by metal and tv sports aesthetic. I would do anything to go back to the 90s when everyone dressed like a circus clown with disgusting side part hairstyles and ugly outfits made 99% out of jeans instead.
I also despised how all of that young generation of kids actually used to go outside to play different games on the streets, go to arcades, have fun at the beach with their families, ride skateboards, do tricks with their BMXs on their own ramps that they build with friends while listening to Greenday or Rise Against, etc, etc Take me back to the golden era of the 90s when living in Europe was an absolute fucking hell with low pay, terrible living conditions, and an absolute lack of perspectives in life in general.

I shit you not, I'm pretty sure anytime he showed up, he would keep looking back and forth until someone walked into the room and the tv would go back to the game play footage, and I swear one time his eyes literally stopped upon going to the middle while I was watching with my brother and then he disappeared sooner.
