Fishing for Giant Tarpon and Kingfish

- In this episode of BlacktipH, I go fishing off the coast of Florida for tarpon, sharks, and mackerel with my good buddy Glynn Austin from Going Coastal Charters. Our first bite of the day was a smaller kingfish, followed up by a huge Spanish mackerel! Shortly after we got a bite on the flatline and it was a tarpon! Jarred picked up the rod and fought the fish for over thirty minutes before we were able to catch and release it. We put three more live baits behind the boat and waited for another bite. After half an hour, I hooked another tarpon, and after a ten-minute fight, he broke me off. We reset our baits to try again. Glyn hooked up next, and it was a giant tarpon! After a few insane jumps and a tough fight, Glyn landed his fish. Later in the day Glynn and I doubled up on sharks. I caught a black nose shark and Glynn had a blacktip shark. We proceed to land those fish to finish our day.

First tarpon ever was down in Port Aransas, Texas. About 30-35 inches and caught on the smallest shrimp in the bucket. Complete luck that I got him in bc I was fishing with 12lb line and he jumped about 3 or 4 times. Insane fight and would love to catch one again

I do every type of huntin🤣I love frog hand catching and I gig too. But I thought finishing was always boring, but now I’m getting back into to it. But I’m scared of hooking myself
it only hurts for a little while. been hooked many time and been stuck to a fish for an hour with a hook in my hand and it in his mouth haha. makes for a good story.

So i love in the everglades florida in the part where it is mixing with the gulf of mexico and i hooked my first tarpon today and it was kinda cool cause i saw it jump really close to the boat and then it seemed like it went in slow mo and it shook its head and the hook came flying out :) do y’all have any techniques to get a tarpon on the hook? i would gladly appreciate it❤️

Tampon fish looks like my wife's sister's cousin Eddie's brother's wife's son Geoff. Geoff is about 15 now and has a mustache that curl's up to his nose that makes him look like a catfish. So Geoff looks more like a catfish thank a tampon fish but it's close enough.

One time I was fishing on a pier with my family in Panama city and one guy caught one that was around 140 lbs.
He fought it for an hour
pier fishing tarpon is definitly an art and takes a lot of luck and time. i fish up that way too. been doing very good on the tarpon while filming this week.
@@FatBellyFishing on Pensacola pier last Saturday a pod of 300-400 150 pounders and up came right up 20 feet of the pier. Probably 10-15 people hooked up on the tarpon. On swimbaits to cigar minnows. It's not even time for them! Great early season tarpon bite.
