It's wild to hear how much more emotion there is in this version compared to the live in Chicago one from 8 years ago. That third verse feels a lot like it was written when she didn't understand the depth pain could have but we're still here. We're still fighting. And it still rings true.
It's fascinating how music can evoke different emotions and experiences, even when comparing different versions or performances of the same song. Artists often pour their emotions into their work, and as time passes, their understanding and perspective on certain themes may evolve.
In this case, it seems that the third verse of the song in question carries a sense of growth and resilience. It could be interpreted as the artist reflecting on a time when they may not have fully comprehended the depths of pain, but despite that, they emphasize the importance of perseverance and the ongoing struggle. Despite the passage of time, the message still resonates and remains relevant, which speaks to the enduring nature of the human spirit and our capacity to overcome adversity.
Music has a unique way of capturing and conveying emotions, and each performance or interpretation can bring out different nuances and intensities. It's through these variations that we can appreciate the artist's growth, their changing perspectives, and the evolving connection between their art and the audience.
Tears!
The sound of the Chicago concert is remixed, here is the direct mix from the desk, that concert was a video clip, this is real direct.
Hayley and Taylor’s moment at the end, followed by Zac clapping in the background 🥲🥲🥲
I’m a 32 year old man from a small town in rural Texas. That being said, every time I hear this song I get choked up. I was diagnosed with type 2 bipolar in the midst of a depression, on the cusp of self-immolation. I have loved Paramore for the last 20 years, but this song didn’t resonate with me until I found myself in that pit of despair. I can’t even begin putting into words how much this song meant to me when I finally, truly “heard” it for the first time. When my wife and I see them live anytime they’re in Texas, I turn into a sobbing baby during this song. I hope it touches you all the same way it has me. Because it’s truly a work of art, and a blessing…
Nice to hear that this song helps you.... it's a wonderful song
I agree. It hits on a whole other level when you’ve been in that pit. For me it was in the mental hospital after admitting myself last summer. It is impossible for me to listen to the bridge of this song now without tears in my eyes. I hope you are doing better, stranger.

You are loved! Stay well and keep hope alive!
Last hope is and will always be their best song live
It's great to hear that "Last Hope" holds a special place for you as the artist's best song when performed live. Music is a subjective experience, and each person connects with songs in their own unique way. The energy and atmosphere of a live performance can often add an extra layer of emotion and intensity to a song, making it a standout moment for fans.

I’m so proud of them after listening to them on and off since 2007 they deserve every ounce of success they have.
It's wonderful to hear that you've been a dedicated listener and supporter of the artist for such a long time. Building a connection with an artist's music over the years can create a strong sense of admiration and pride in their achievements.
Artists often pour their heart and soul into their work, facing numerous challenges along the way. It's heartening to see an artist you appreciate achieve success and recognition for their efforts. Success in the music industry is often the result of a combination of talent, hard work, perseverance, and the support of fans like yourself.
Your feelings of pride and happiness for the artist are a testament to the impact their music has had on your life. Music has a unique way of resonating with individuals and becoming a part of their personal journeys. It's a beautiful thing to witness an artist's growth and success, knowing that you have been there to appreciate their artistry throughout the years.

Lover her voice 😍😍😍
It's fantastic to hear that you admire the artist's voice! A captivating and talented vocalist can greatly enhance the listening experience and create a deep connection with the audience. A singer's voice is their instrument, and when it resonates with us, it can evoke strong emotions and leave a lasting impression.
Paramore this was the ONE song I wanted to see live. And then you had to cancel the show I was going to. Please bring it back for the next time you go on tour!!

Was there crying and still watching on here 😭 I’m glad my first time seeing them was home at Roo💕When are we going to get a paramore eras tour???
it's wonderful to hear that you had a meaningful experience watching Paramore's performance from home at Roo (presumably referring to the Bonnaroo Music Festival). Being able to witness a band you love in a live setting, even if it's through a virtual platform, can still be a memorable and emotional experience.
we all know why we're here. #paramoresavedme
