What did you do to prepare for such a physically demanding role 😴😪
Interviewer: “How did you get into shape for the role?”
Mark Addy: “Weeeeeeeeeeeeellll!”
The parallel to Ned Stark she made. Most interviewers today wouldn’t ask that kind of thing. Well done.
She didn't get it right though. Ned Stark didn't feel remorse, he was doing his duty. But he didn't enjoy it like Daemon does, certainly.
Most reviewers would ask them the same generic trite every time lmao
@@Hana9916 He did feel remorse, you can see as he nods as the young squire says tell his parents that he died beyond the wall and not a coward passed it that he felt sadness in his eyes as if that were his own sons.
@@IdunnoBroIjdk Agreed. Even later on he talks to Benjen about the man he executed. It was clearly troubling him and on his mind.
@@IdunnoBroIjdk He did not. There's no indication he regrets, Ned is a good man, but he ain't a flawless saint. Oh, you are the one who actually called the Targaryens evil but think the Starks are saint, okay.
The fact that the actor who plays Sir Cristin Cole actually read the books and understands the lore is amazing and shows his dedication to the role.

@@npats550 What? Performing a job well is a basic expectation of any employee. How is doing a job well deserving of a raise when everyone is expected to perform their job well. You think they would've still hired her if she was a shitty performer?
This woman is excellent at her job! You can tell that actors enjoy different questions than usual, like wings and dragons. She asked them how they felt about their characters and they were thinking about it out loud, that's just great!
Paddy and Matt are such a cute duo, I feel like I am watching a sitcom, they're so fun and cool
Paddy Considine has been such an underrated actor. From what I’ve read in the book, he has really captured the character.
No he hasn't, who said he's underrated? Paddy was their first choice for this role, and people/critics have been raving about his performance as King Viserys. Paddy actually improves on the character quite a bit, even George R. R. Martin prefers Paddy's portrayal of King Viserys over the version from his own book. He's also been nominated for like, 50+ awards throughout his acting career (and won over half of the awards he's been nominated for), so he's definitely getting the recognition and respect he deserves for his work.

@@nissan_skyline Easy love. In comparison to the likes of Matt Smith he’s not nearly as highly praised. No one’s saying he isn’t the perfect Viserys or getting praise, because he is, but it’s all a bit overshadowed compared to Milly and Matt
I think he’s been the best, better than Matt only by a hair. Whenever he’s in an awkward situation or aims to apease his listeners, he does these tone switches and expressions. And when he’s outrage, he’s sooo good. He really lands the role
This interviewer is so good. I enjoyed all of her questions and it looks like the cast also enjoyed being able to talk in more depth about their characters. These are the sort of things I like to hear the actors discuss, and it's unfortunately rare for an interviewer to ask interesting questions like this. She also has a really great and curious manner where she lets the actors speak.

it really is a breath of fresh air to see a competent journalist who knows what she's talking about and who actually does a decent research, even possibly is a fan of show/books herself. well done, Janet!
Paddy has such a jolly, jovial air about him, he frequently wears an expression like he just thought of a silly pun. Made him a brilliant Viserys, I can't applaud Paddy's performance enough. Give him all of the Emmys.!

Matt Smith as Daemon has been great. Like the fella that played Ramsay, he steals the show. Very good actor. All the actors this season are very good. Great show.

It's rare for an actor to say "good question" so big props to this interviewer. A lot of these interviewers give off a desperate "I'm such a big fan" vibe that they actually sound annoying. They always ask generic questions.
Hot Fuzz continues to prove that everybody casted in that movie are top tier actors destined for greatness in their work

I read that Paddy has won a lot of awards as director, writer and producer but here he really shines as an actor, I really want to see him win an Emmy, he’s outstanding as Viserys.
Paddy has anxiety around people and you can definitely tell but he answered so beautifully. He plays a perfect Viserys.

They're uncle and niece but deep down they both knew-their relationship is nothing like that. Rhaenyra called her uncle but Daemon never called her niece.

I like the parallel with Ned Stark but I don't think it's right to say he regrets executing the deserter. He has some sadness that this young man had to die but he believes in the rightness of the rule of law.
well I'm sure Ned regretted that he had to die. Ned never took pleasure in killing, and Daemon does. I think that was the interviewer's point.

Criston grew up in the Stormlands and is only part Dornish. Unlike Oberyn and the Sand Snakes who grew up there.

I think ultimately this is a story about a failure to communicate. It's easy to be team Rhaeynra but Alicent does have a point when she quite diplomatically describes Rhaenyras children as plain faced. Alicent always played by the rules and she inherently hates Rhaeyra because she acts like the rules dont apply to her.

@@viktoriakolesnik3267 fire and blood is supposedly written by a maester who lived years after the events and his sources are subjective, in the book they say Mysaria was pregnant but in the show we learn that's a lie Daemon said.
The book isn't the truth. There are three povs for each event, and one might be closer to reality but not the ultimate truth. The show is the one that shows what truly happened. The writers have spoken with Martin too so we know what we're watching is the truth
