MAKING A LEATHER KOOZIE

This video shows you how to make a leather koozie using one piece of leather and a standard foam koozie. You simply glue the foam koozie inside the leather koozie. In the video I demonstrate the procedure using contact cement. I demonstrate applying glue to the foam koozie first. It is actually ideal to apply the contact cement to the leather koozie first then the foam koozie. Not as messy. Also you will need to fill a beer can with either a 2 part epoxy or 2 part polyurethane. This gives you a rigid fixture for inserting the foam koozie.
Using a 4in x 10in piece of veg tanned will fit any standard can snugly. This size will fit some bottles a little lose. I mention using 8-9 ounce veg tanned but you could use lighter weight if you wanted.
