    👆 Line 6 Helix LT Floor Amp & FX Modelling Unit - tinyurl.com/y394ay5p
    The Line 6 Helix LT is a lighter, more streamlined version of the highly-popular Helix standard. Boasting all of the same amp and effect modelling technology of its bigger brother, but with less footswitches, a simplified interface and not as many inputs and outputs, the Helix LT is still a valid choice for the serious musician.
    With over 200 amp, effect, cabinet and microphone models available, the Helix LT is the epitome of a versatile, all-encompassing floorboard solution. It's fair to say that Line 6 has come a long way since its first digital amp modellers from 20 years ago. Now offering incredibly convincing reproductions of desirable, renowned amps and effects with its award-winning HX modelling engine and dual-DSP, there's a reason why many modern players are turning to products like the Helix LT.

      @narco73 Pƙed 4 lety +1

      Yeah parallel compression is great. Also first thing he did was set the mix to 100% on all the modulation effects too, whilst this gets you a certain sound, it is only when blended against the dry signal that they actually work as intended...

  • @davidmatos3603
    @davidmatos3603 Pƙed 2 lety +2

    I'm a bass player and bought the HX STOMP to simulate amps and cabs.
    firstly, the video is not explicit in the cabinets they are using...
    and I know why.
    If you take an electric guitar and connect it to this equipment, it sounds good. The guitar sounds are fantastic and I would say usable.
    As far as Electric Bass is concerned, that's another story.
    When you hook up a bass to an amp and cabinet block, it sucks. It sounds muffled, without definition.
    For some reason, they are using Impulse responses (they could mention where they got it) and 100% compression at the beginning...
    Line 6 didn't do a good job of this bass material.
    A warning for those with the HX Stomp, you will always have to use a clean bass line with a lot of tricks - EQ's, Comp's, etc.
    I leave a challenge for Andertons - Take Pbass, plugin directly to the Helix.
    Then add an amp and a cab, adjust the volume and show it here.
    If you want, I can do it, so as not to fool people.
    If you notice at the beginning, the 3 bass have IR's. Plus, when they ask for a clean bass sound, he puts IR's. why not put the HX Cab's? have all the mics, distances, etc... why? for what?
    Remember that the expert guy spent a year experimenting and checking how to work with this pedal. Shouldn't it be intuitive?
    How many basses are there in the world?- Precision, Jazz, Music man.
    The rest of the electric basses float around the previous ones.
    If you search - How to get a clean bass sound with Helix/HX on Google, you'll find it's a hot topic.
    it's not easy to go as it should be.
    and if it's not easy, it shouldn't be shown as such.

    I play classic rock. I need no effects. I do have a compressor and a chorus. That’s it.

    Well, I’m sure this channel would have you brainwashed to think these freaks all think it’s the best for bass all around, but just remember they have been installed here to make you think that. The reality is the Helix treats bass modeling like it’s a red-headed-stepchile. Just being real. Good luck with it if this sells you on one. Maybe in a few years you’ll get the ultimate upgrade.

      Hi JU5TNTIM3. You seem to have a pretty strong difference of opinion. Can you elaborate?

      @@FrankieBaker2 I don't recall my headspace when I wrote this, but I can say that I frustratingly worked my way through all the modelers, via all monitoring solutions, and didn't get what I wanted. I thought modeling wasn't for me.
      I couldn't understand people claiming it replaced their amps. Helix and the like especially so, as all the amps tended to sound the same after you really play through them. There was something off about them.
      Then I tried AxeFX, which also has bass options, and it's won me fully. I was able to get rid of my favorite tube amp (Mesa Triple Rectifier) because I no longer needed it. Through studio monitors or through a guitar cab it feels and sounds legitimate. Real.

      @@chrisjames7489 I dont know dude, got tube amps for guitar and bass for the studio, just did not work for me, its nice for practicing, but when recording you need to do a lot on the mixing to make sound nice...i dont know, just telling you my experience with it. I use it for RHY guitar, and just layering things before going to the recording stage.

      @@RapttorX Don't get me wrong....had all the POD'S and versions of Line 6, use them all the time, love my HELIX....i think is super confortable and convenient, but its more GUITAR based, the bass amps are a nice addition, but LINE 6 and andertons trying to sell this for bass players...i dont know..., i just think is not the right thing to do.I just think is false advertising. Been using gear for 25 years now.Does helix replace my tube amps ? hell no...its kinda close, but no.I still use it because it convenient and sound good, but the bass SIMS are not as good as the SIMS for guitar, 100% sure...its just my experience.Did not work for me, maybe it works for you.
