if you have lots of money to waste, then go on get them .. but to me, these are upgrades that i don't need to get better on my bike anyway .. so, i'd rather upgrade my bike skill and fitness, and be happy with my old da9000 groupset on my ever reliable lynskey .. stay safe everyone !!
2:31 my 1988 105 does 40 tooth....short af cage, cogs do not touch. Longer cage would be nice for more chain tension but that doesn't effect max cassette teeth
@@danielmoorhouse6506 To be safe you should order 1400-1000. It all depends how high you position your seat-post. Also, if you ever get annoyed with wireless lag, you can always run 1400 mm cable from shifters directly to the battery.
I just got one of the ultegra shifters and caliper and went to install but there's no brake hose olive anywhere to be seen. Did shimano change the need for one or do I actually need to get one??? I already installed all of it and the hose seems pretty secure and no leaking as of yet.
I only want to get the new brakes. Nick, do you think they would work with my 9170 levers? I'm pretty sure they would (it's the same oil after all), but thought I would ask you :)
Let's upgrade...Who's buyin'? Why upgrade? Well, uuhh, not sure really, but feeling a burning compulsion to spend little Johnny's college fund. SL7? Don't lose your head over it. Some will understand this reference.
Can honestly say I’ve never heard an accent quite like his-Aussie Asian mix. Very cool 😎
Very nice! Sweet ride I’m sure.
Quality is spot on
Huh new look rotors with the 9200. Haven't noticed that in all the build videos I've watched so far.
Hope Dave enjoys.
Somebody’s got some money burn at the new prices good weight though on the bike👍
Woohoo go ray's! They're my LBS :)
superb … love your video’s man ✌️
Thanks Paul
Very nice… that’s some rebuild. I’d be happy if I can get a new seat post for my TCR… 6 weeks now and no sign!
Industry is crazy at the moment
I found the last one for my 2016 TCR in a worldwide search in the UK.

Who said money can’t buy happiness? 👍👍👍
Money can't buy happiness, but can buy a bike. And it's pretty close😂

Specalized falls short in the dream bike. More like a nightmare.
Nice
Did you use the existing 11 speed Di2 cables? I thought the 12 speed ones were different?
You did weigh it with the wahoo at the beginning and without at the end
Good point
Can we install the new dura ace 9200 to s-works venge?
Another excellent bike 🚴, how much is the cost of the unit, Many thanks 😊 bro
Awesome looking groupset. For a 58cm tarmac what 2 wire lengths would you use for the new di2?
Stock standard should be long enough
Thanks for replying so quickly. I'll be sourcing the parts to build a frameset up. What is stock standard please?

You do need one
daaaayuuuummm
This group set using 12 speed chain, so this 12 speed chain can be used on Dura ace 9100 crank? Thanks 🙏
Yes it should work
Great. What BB are you using? The Dura Ace is not so smooth. 🙌
C bear ceramic bb

Good question David. I think they would
Also tube set are the same…is there any official info from shimano?
9200 levers have slightly larger capacity and are more optimized for the new brakes. They are physically different in dimensions for a reason.
8:04 "under sevens" but without the bike computer you had on before
Also "old" was on Absolute black Chainrings and Ceramic bearings rear cage
WHAT size Frame do you ride looks like 49cm ?
Tarmac size 52
Wow Shimano dropped the ball with no clutch on the rear der

Other than the hideous disc brakes that is some nice kit.
Can I have your 9100 groupset please 🙏- have no need for 12 speed😎
Upgrading a bike to 9270 makes zero sense, the ultimate in unnecessary consumerism.
