I think you’d be better having the excavator blade towards the work area and down to offer stability Shawn. Looks like a good job with the homemade ripper though now the welds are stronger.

Hi Shawn just recently discovered you guys through recommended videos. I love seeing the drains work. My father needs some drain work done. You've given me the confidence to do this. Thank You for your videos. I've been binging them & liking. I hope this helps you get more subscribers. Thank you !

Turn the bottom part of the excavator around and put down the front blade it will help keep you from sliding forward it will also help steady the machine.

I need one for digging trails thru shale rock areas and I have a job to dig a stump in someone’s front yard. I ordered one from Rhinox in GB. $750 with shipping. Not cheap but they make great products and it will pay for itself.

Nice, seems to work well. Seat belt is a great option for not getting thrown out of the seat. I learned that the hard way.

Shawn, a bigger machine may make waste out of the tooth but it's taking what you can throw at with the current machine. 👍 I prefer a oxygen acetylene torch myself however I have had to use old welding rods and crank up my welder to make cuts before I got a torch.

Beauty isn't always functional. Great job. Really enjoyed watching. Build new tool. Let's go see if we can destroy it!

Acronym "SHIT" = "S"hip "H"igh "I"n "T"ransport. This acronym came out of old, old England back when goods were transported by sailing ships. If Manure got wet it made a stinking mess...so they hung the bags of manure from the ceilings and walls of the ship to keep the manure dry.

Grind off the outer layer on the plate so you have clean metal to weld on. The outer layer from the making have a higher melting point thats why it dident hold.

I’m surprised that the 1/2” you said was too thin but I would think that’s an advantage being thin

Can you put an edge on the inside-to make it a true ripper shank? It would cut the buried roots easier, then get a patent!

Make a montage of all, or most of your rap up shots, where you show the end result of it working. I find those parts highly "satisfing". (Im not sure about that last word)
