- I thought I share my experience with the brand new Bluefin Cruise 2020 model, since there is not much information out there. Check current pricing on Amazon: amzn.to/2EFALkP
Looking forward to getting mine in a few weeks, thanks for review, it will be really helpful.
Great review, mine arrives tomorrow, very excited
Just attach the hose that comes with the pump and leave the valve closed at all times. Once it deflates enough use the “IN” section of the pump to deflate board.
I have the Bluefin Cruise Carbon 10'8" (reviewed on my channel) and it's been holding up well so far. Pumping it up is a bit of a workout but I guess that is a fitness bonus!
I can fit the blue bag rolled up inside a dry bag and then under bungies, also I have the same problem with locking the pump hose in the valve whilst pumping. Good review dude. I like mine so far 👍
yeah, its a pretty nice gear overall😊
I've been having the same problem, I make sure the inflation value is up before I start pumping, but value is sticking down when disconnecting.
If the hose is loose to the valve then maybe you've lost the rubber washer or maybe it needs a thicker washer.
Bluefin just released V3 2021 model, not sure what changed compared to the 2020 model in this video.
Hi mate im thinking about buy one sup table like yours. What is your opinion about the table after this time of use? Thanksss
How much does this board weigh?
Does your board have any ripples or bubbles down the side
It's quite smooth all around. I haven't notice any bubbles or ripples both before and after inflating it. It's a pretty solid overall.
Hi, yes mine does, quite a few actually. Wondered if that is normal or not?
@@jargonbytes2407 Looking at your video it does when deflated.
My advice...steer well clear of this brand. I own(ed) 2 Bluefin boards - Cruise 15 and Cruise Carbon 15. Quality issues with both. Customer service challenging and error-prone, lots of quality problems...invest a bit more on a quality brand; you'll be happier in the long run. ALSO - SmartLock fin on Cruise line is proprietary - you lose or break it, you have to replace it only from Bluefin. And guess what...no stock available. Rendering your nice board utterly useless. Go w/ a standard US Box Fin system on ANY board you buy. Pro tip....
Thanks for the feedback and tip. I don't really recommend this for pro users, but for a beginner and casual users it's not so bad. My experience with customer service, at least here in Germany, was pretty good. I contacted the distributors here regarding some minor imperfections on one of the paddles and I was refunded 10% of the cost. I do agree that the US Box style fin is considerably superior to the one used by Bluefin.
As to the "SmartLock" fin, it is also used by Blackfin/iRocker, Tower, and a couple more. You can just order the replacement fins from iRocker. As for QC, Bluefin is now on Version 5 of their first design in 2018. 2018 (3 versions), 2019, and now the 2020 version (the subject of this video). It's hard for a buyer to judge QC b/c by the time they read of the issue, that model is no longer made.
@@larrydunn4626 .... Version 5?! Wow, that was quick.
@@larrydunn4626 version 5?i just bougt it and got version 3? Are you sure?
I just got back from Bluefin and V3 is the latest 2021 model, which just came out. (one of the first to get it)
