Is it just me, or do the selfies from the A35 look cleaner and sharper? Weird camera algorithm.

Maybe because a55 chipset is new and need further update,a35 use the same chipset with a54 released last year and already got software update.

Thanks GSM Arena. Coming fron an A40 (first model), which I absolutely abused, to the point that now some apps even refuse to update (namely, Google Maps), and not giving a thing about videos and photos, I guess the A35 is the best shot for me. I'll keep it for 4 years and then, we'll see. BTW there is 130 euros difference between the two which is money I can spend to buy a CRT tv (I have a thing for retro gaming 😅).

@@djcarlwalker perfection is different for person to person, maybe that what he/she meant, maybe A55 is better, but A35 is perfect for him/her (eg for money that available at the time, etc)
Does it have object eraser and all the other S series editing features?(AI features excluded ofcourse) Is the GoodLock app same as the S series phones?
@pcmasterrace2306 Yeah, the phone has basic Ai features like: remastering, object erasing, reflection erasing, etc.
Honestly, I haven't tried all GoodLock options. I only used NavStar to hide navigation hint.
@@djcarlwalker I'm not into high-end gaming or top-level cameras. This is a decent phone with smooth ui, 5 years of updates, good design (bezels are not that bad), ip67, stereo sound.

for me, after getting used to the metal frame, the A35; despite it's glass back, felt almost cheap. This won't matter anyway cuz everyone puts on a case, but for those who come from an older flagship and don't use a case (very niche) the A35 will feel cheap. I am sure you can get used to it easily tho.
A35 is like a worse A54 while A55 gets outclassed by the S23 FE that costs about the same. What was Samsung even thinking with those models?

Do the battery tests more accurate next time. Do 3-4 use cases at the same time mark, then let the last one be the difference between them as to which one has the better battery management system What you show at 2:28 is wishy washy

I JUST BOUGHT MY A34 LAST DECEMBER AND I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH IT. THE CAMERA WAS NOT THAT GOOD ENOUGH.

A series have improved alot in both hardware and software the only problem with A series they hot so badly. I was using a33 5g it was getting hot so bad that I switched to s10
Not a issue on the a55 my a54 before did heat up a lot

Got the A35 recently and can tell you it has very satisfying tap feedback vibration (if that is what you mean), compared to A32 with more sluggish feedback.

They were smart enough to save the thinner bezels for flagship lineup series😂 so people could easily differentiate between midrange and flagship.If you are to look into Samsung design,they almost look the same.Well that's not the case with iPhone.

Has anyone noticed the screen? There is a distance between the top screen and the metal frame of the Samsung A55, left screen corner to right screen corner of Samsung A55, that distance is on the side of the speaker grill

A55 has eSIM whereas the A35 doesn't. That could be the dealbreaker for those who travel.
Tbh...both are overpriced as the way Samsung charge premium on all segments.
In this time and age to wait for a phone to charge for an hour or an hour and a half, no charger and no headphone jack is just ridiculous. There are far better phones at this price range.
S23FE has same Exynos 2200 chip as S22. It gets warm and isn't efficient. A55 chip much better as long as you're not a gamer

you're right, the galaxy a35 is basically the a54. but, it's a good thing. you're getting last year's higher end phone for a lower price and samsung optimized the exynos 1380 on the a35 which performs better than the a54
@krypticunknown the only doubt I have is about the camera, but I guess that, after couple of updates, it will become a respectable camera. Mine A52S, only around June 2021 did start to perform pretty well with the camera. Up to date, it's more than ok

I don't know about the prices outside the eu but the a55 is horrible value in here. You can get the oneplus 12r for the same price which is leagues ahead
Unfortunately the A55 is not coming to the USA, so you have to get the A35 which has just recently arrived in the United States

What a waste of time. This is a poor, rushed, and incomplete comparison!
Both have thick bezels. And whats up with the long os and security updates hype about anyway? Most people wont use their phones for over 5 years anyway and even if you do the os updates will still put a strain on your phone and it will run slower anyway just like ios phones.So whats the point. Hgher resale value ? Havent seen it yet in the places i frequent.
I do agree somewhat as for os at least for the people who do use the phone for years thay will no that won't be left behind, yes I understand that phone get slower over time. And resell value is terrible for Android phones period.

If you want to sure. But at the same time you also don't need to be confined to Samsung too. There are phones from other companies that have thin bezels without the flagship price tag.
Personally I myself use flagships for over 16 years ever since smartphones first hit the market but I am still adventurous enough to explore all kinds of phones and price segments in the market which explain why I have over 200 phones by now.
I turn most of them into picture frames,emulators,CCTVs and locators to give them a new lease of life.

My Samsung Galaxy A52 4G runs even better today the latest Android 14, then it did in 2021 with Android 11! Even the battery usage is better optimized now.
Resale? Android users aren't like iphone users. The latter has a cult and will pay for anything, even an iphone 11 in 2024. 😅
And not everyone here is on a 2-year contract. Rarely see anyone who bought phones outright dump theirs quickly on year 2.
