Isn't it amazing that when you let us in at a really hard time, we all gathered in your corner and offered you love and support. I don't know if I could have done it. I've had three different surgeries and I was nervous for every one. In fact during one the doctor said "Your heart rate is a little high, let's try to calm down a little bit." So I took several deep breaths and my heart rate immediately dropped, it was kind of fascinating actually. Now I remember to breathe deep whenever I'm just not thinking clearly and it always helps. Long story short, you're awesome and courageous and an inspiration, keep it up.

The lip flap is so huge right now, I'm just so interested to see what reconstructive surgery will be able to create! Regardless, your eyes already look as beautiful as they always have and I'm so happy they weren't hurt. I hope your next surgery and recovery is as pain-free as is possible, and whatever the outcome I hope you can feel healthy and happy in the upcoming spring 🫶
Aw I’m so happy this is happening for ya soon. I’ve had 40 surgeries and most all have been in the last 8 years. It’s hard because ya want it all fixed at the same time but there’s a process, ugh, and eventually it’ll be much better. I’m amazed at how far you’ve come in such a short time. Stay strong. When the surgeons are finished everyone will be amazed at your transformation and I think you’ll be happy with the final results. I know getting there is a tortuous process. A good friend was in an explosion and underwent so many surgeries his liver couldn’t handle the anesthesia anymore. He ended up with two wives, two biological children and a great career.

I’m really grateful for your progress. Keeping the internet updated on your progress is really something unique, and we appreciate it in many ways, for many reasons. May I ask you a couple questions that may deviate from the normal tone of your videos?
1) Have the legal ongoings stemming from this incident been completed? 2) do you have any reflections on how somebody in the dog sitting /dog walking business should deal with certain breeds that are statistically over-represented in mauling incidents, or just refuse to deal with them altogether?
I own a high-drive Malinois, so I have some thoughts but am curious to hear yours.

Good video. If you hadn't mentioned it I wouldn't have noticed that you didn't have ears, but I can understand that you want them. Makes wearing glasses a bit easier I'd imagine. I haven't fully explored your channel yet, so am look forward to finding out what caused you to need these surgeries. Reconstruction is fascinating! I will be curious to see what they can do to give you more symmetrical look, which seems to be important in our world.
