    Very cool tractor! I had one about 15 years ago; regret selling it. I'd like to see you install a ROPS unit on yours for safety 🙂

    Which gear where you in for most of the video? How does the machine handle the weight on the back end? Is reverse gear low enough to back into heavy brush and not have to depress the clutch and PTO?

    • @YANMARCENTRAL
      @YANMARCENTRAL  Před 6 měsíci +2

      I was in 1st and 2nd gear high range for most of the video, it handles the weight well, i had to come up a few steep hills and it did ok, but I do have the extra weight on the front end. I go to reverse low range when backing, especially for bug brush or technical. reverse gear high range is too fast for most things, it’s almost the same speed a 3 high range in forward. I would also bet the tractor doesn’t have enough power to run reverse high range over big brush. Thanks for watching!

    Hello. Nice! 15HP? Wow, it sure works. And you don't seem to have to have the throttle up too high.

    • @YANMARCENTRAL
      @YANMARCENTRAL  Před 11 měsíci +2

      It seems to run the bush hog very well around 1500 rpm, the only time I go higher is for saplings and small trees. It eats them right up!

      @@YANMARCENTRALThat is nice. I have to have my tractor revved way up.

    Well I was wondering how it would handle the 4 ft bushog. I have a Bolens GT17 that has a 4 ft belly mower and want to go to a 4 ft hog.

    • @YANMARCENTRAL
      @YANMARCENTRAL  Před 6 měsíci +1

      I’m not sure what kind of belly mower you have but, finish mowers take more power to run than a bush hog. I have been very happy with the performance of the bush hog on my tractor

      It came with it when the tractor was purchased new. It was on it when I bought it last spring. And yes it seems to take a lot of power to run it. It's pto driven with a gearbox and a very long belt to the mower deck. The back end mounts on the 3 point hitch.

    What size are the front rims and tires?

    • @YANMARCENTRAL
      @YANMARCENTRAL  Před 9 měsíci +1

      14” rims 6.00x14 tires which is the incorrect tire (put on by previous owner. I’m looking for some 5x14s

    Don't you prefer a 3 cylinder engine? I own a YM 180D

    • @YANMARCENTRAL
      @YANMARCENTRAL  Před 6 měsíci

      I personally love the 2 cylinder, probably because that was the first tractor I had, I really love the sound of them, and just the raw simplicity of the way they are built.

      @@YANMARCENTRAL Oh ok, good to you man if it gets the job done, I honestly will always prefer a 3 cyl, mine works just fine, too bad it doesn't have a better transmission, it's a 8F and 2R only
