Tonight I will be Reacting to @Sabaton @SabatonHistory performing En Livstid I Krig - LIVE - The Great Tour - Gothenberg!!
Enjoy!
Love and Light! - Hudba
Everything about this song and performance are great but for some reason I love Joachim's little laugh at the end and Par's (bassist) hands on his head. Like neither of them can believe how big they've gotten and how much the crowd loves and engages with their work
Its not Par, its Pär. Says Per.
Told you it's an epic song and an even more epic performance.
I was actually there, 10th row on the left. We sang, and the epic moment made a lot of us both cry and laugh. We hugged each other and sang our hearts out in unison. I will never forget!
Thank you for sharing this beautiful, life changing experience! What an incredible gift to have been able to be there, and see them Live! Amazing! Love & Light!
Joakim conducting a choir of thousands...
Timeless song.
It was brilliant! Love & Light!
Nice reaction, I was at this show (sitting somewhere in the middle of the platform to the left from this view of the stage)
Just before this clip started Joakim (the singer) said, no one carries around a lighter anymore but you all have phones right? So turn on your lights for this one. Then at the start of the video, he said totally wonderful, my friends, let's sing together en livstid i krig (a lifetime of war)
They had sold out the arena so we were 10 766 metalheads in the arena that night (going by facts online and in the newspaper after the show)
Needless to say, the goosebumps were heavy that night, no pun intended.
Told you it'd give you goosebumps!🥰 And your reaction was beatiful and dignified . This one is about the 30-years war in present-day Germany, 1618-1648
You were right!! Thank you for the suggestion! Love & Light!
I can’t hear this song without getting goosebumps and/or tears in my eyes (especially not this live version from Gothenburg). As a Swede, every time I listen to it, it fills me with pride, resolve, and with appreciation for those who sacrificed their lives so that I could be where I am today.
The Tommy effect hits also here ❤ You look so sad through the whole song, except when Tommy is zoomed in during the solo. Then your eyes lit up and you smile. He always does that!
Hahaha, I don’t have much of a poker face!! Hard to hide how one feels about Tommy!!💜 Love &Light
I was not in the crowd in gothenburg but I was in the crowd in Stockholm. It was the same as this. I will never forget all the mobile phones I saw and the crowd singing. That was so awesome. Then when I came home, I got covid. Lol. Worth it.
The feeling when the crowd sing the song is amazing 💥 I was at a concert with a little smaller crowd but the feeling was the same 🤘 Thanks from Sweden 🇸🇪
Filming from the concert stage like that is so cool.
Sooo amazing! It gave me chills to hear the massive audience of fans singing in perfect unison with Sabaton! Breathtaking! Love & Light~
beautiful angie.
Nice to see your reaction. Greetings and merry christmas from Sweden. / Micke P
Thank you so much for watching Micke! Greetings and Merry Christmas from Maryland, USA!! Love & Light!
Its 01:18PM here, and i suggested it some 1 hour ago....thanks for differnt time periods! :P
Hope you enjoyed it! I know I sure did!! Thanks for watching! Love & Light!
Nightwish and Sabaton, two very connected bands, and two of the greatest to exist today who know how to stir emotions like few others could even dream of 🤘
Beautifully said, and I agree 100%! Thank you for sharing that! Love & Light!!
@FirstImpressionswithAngie thankyou for taking us along on your musical journey 🤘🤘🤘
The lyrics are very emotional in this version. It describes the 30 years war in Europe (1618-1648) from a young Swedish boys perspective, sent out to a war far from home in a small village to a country he dont even know where it is. One can say that this conflict actually was the first world war, because so many nations was involved.
Angie, you made my day/night with this, your reaction (fantastic!), and the gorgeous SABATON song "En Livstid I Krig - LIVE": it always gets me;
it makes my heart punch again!
Oh i'm so glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for watching! Love & Light!
So glad you read comments Angie... I just knew you'd love that performance!
Thank you! I am trying to get to them all! All of your comments are so important to my journey! Love & Light!
This one always gives me goosebumps.
Oh my goodness I had Goosebumps the entire time! HAHA
Side note: the drummer, Hannes van Dahl, is married to Floor Jansen of Nightwish.
Yes, I love that! Love how they're all intertwined! Love & Light!
They sing about the Thirty Years' War (1618-1648) .. Where Sweden became a great power 💙💛
Thank you for sharing that with me! It was incredible! Love & Light!
@@FirstImpressionswithAngiesabaton also have a history channel where they go in depth about the history and a little about the song itself
LOL. Off-putting is exactly the point. Your tongue is amazing. Don't let anybody cramp your style. ••• Great reaction. Thanks! Feliz! NAVIDAD!!!
The English and Swedish versions of the lyrics are very different as the English one is more of a generalized depiction of the war while the Swedish version is from a soldier's point of view. Both are fantastic though I prefer the Swedish. This song and this specific performance still gets me. You really should see these guys live next time they tour stateside. They are fun as Hell and put on a fantastic show.
If you don't mind a critique, your voice is way too low in your clips. Otherwise great and sincere reaction as always. Cheers!
Another lovely reaction! May i leave one thing, an incident thats so 50s B-Movie like, but it really happened? Sabatons - The Last Battle! its so weird and so .....it happened, but you wouldnt believe it! Check out the Animated story!
Oh yes.
An amazing story.
I agree, but Sabaton History episode about it is a must see, too
@@marinamucic908 def its way too out of what could be
@@fenrisulfur842 I almost couldn't believe it when I first saw it
@@marinamucic908 absolutely! This event has no SS Troops with Tiger Tanks so none of the average readers wants to read a paper about it
As has been said, this song is about the Thirty Years War. Sabaton has an english version of this song called "Lifetime of War" it's not as good, but it is more educational than Livstid i Krig which is more the human and emotional side of the war, where Lifetime of War is more historical and contextual.
Also, go ahead and stick that tongue out lol! It's a reaction, you're supposed to express yourself
Bruh you really said Lifetime of War isn't as good, I can't

By kings and queens young men are sent to die in war
Their propaganda speaks those words been heard before
I hope you could react to the Norwegian singer Sissel Kyrkjebø singing "O Helga Natt"? She is considered one of the world's top crossover sopranos and she even did the vocals in the Titanic movie.
💜from Maryland, USA!! Love & Light!
❤
Sabaton are amazing. Another amazing band for you to react to is ghost. Check out the newer stuff first as it’s more accessible but once you get into them the older stuff is great too
Thank you so much Scottishguy for the suggestion! I'm putting Ghost on my future reaction list for sure! Love & Light!
Please react to the English version of this song as well. It is about the same conflict the 30 years war but from a different perspective.
Thank you so much for the suggestion!! Love and Light!
The history version is *A Lifetime If war*
Sabaton have a nasty habit of from time to time leaving everyones face in a mess. 😢
Their songs are so powerfull and this song are from a young swedish boys perspective sent out to a war (The 30 years war 1618-1648) to a foreign country for a reason he dont even know.
The drummer is Floors husband
Yes, I love how they are all intertwined with Floor, and Tommy Johansson! Like a big happy family!! Love & Light!
