Every fisherman should see this. Not just fly fishermen. This is the foundation to a successful day on the water. Tom, you've done it again.

Thanks for the tips ....when I 1st started fishing salt water lagoons I had no clue where the fish would be so I just read the water in the lagoons like I would a trout river or stream and it worked out well and still does . I find a lot of halibut and spotted bass this way ..... another favorite species to fish for is the Corbina right off the beaches here in southern california .....we sight fish for them in the ankle deep water along the shores with crab patterns . I would like to see you make a video for Corbina one day ....lots of fun and the most challenging !

This is an awesome video, thank you for having this out here. Fly fishing is one of those arts that is a completely different language and you've just translated this to 3rd grade English. Thank you.

Really appreciate your videos. These are very helpful to me. I've been fly fishing about 10 years now and figuring it out as I go...however I seldom catch fish. Hoping to change that this summer and these videos should help a lot. Thanks!
