- In this video I am going to be showing around Jabi/utako area in abuja.
Jabi is a serene and developed district in phase 2 of Abuja. As one of the city’s primary retail, cultural and leisure centres, the district has many things going for it. Additionally, outside of the inner city areas, It is among the most known and sought after neighborhoods in the capital.
The area has a residential feel to it in places. The quieter more residential parts of Jabi are where you will find tree lined streets next to large gated mansions. These mansions host many of the city’s upper class.
On the other hand you also have the more busy sections of the district where most of the commercial activities take place. These activities are further increasing backed up by the recent opening of the Jabi Lake Mall.
There are plenty of landmarks in and around the area. A popular hangout spot is Jabi Lake & Park, while Coco Café and Serendib are two of the more popular restaurants.
Several other parks and gardens are located in Jabi making it among the greenest neighborhoods in the city. These parks provide the perfect opportunity for residents to unwind and relax.
This also provides economic benefits to the neighborhood as Jabi is frequented by people across Abuja, who come to spend money on the recreational activities the district offers.

We construct too many ugly buildings in this country. If Jabi is the most beautiful part of Abuja it means Abuja is full of shits!
The streets are not even well kept. I prefer IITA in Ibadan to this one.
Abuja is overrated !
