Jimmy Wanjigi is very informed when it comes to finance, I’ve already gotten a migraine headache to imagine that the government is borrowing and the money ending in a few pockets, very sad and that’s why Kenya and Africa will never prosper with these corrupt leaders.People we’re bashing Kibaki administration then cause everyone had money in their pockets except the lazy ones now they keep on remembering him. That’s the Kikuyu cow that’s being praised for lots of milk long after its dead.Very sad that the electorates fault, I once told them on social media the mistake they were doing by electing Uhuruto😢

Debt is not necessarily a bad thing. Money when borrowed can improve infrastructure and spur development. But it has to be planned and the potential for growth assessed. For example in a country like Myanmar with barely any industries, borrowing money to build wide roads is a foolish thing to do, but countries like Nigeria, India, Mexico can benefit from better infrastructure. Hard to say if Kenya belongs to the first or second set of countries.

Debt of any nature is a necessary evil to a low level industrial park country which does not generate enough income and wealth to even provide the basic needs to its citizens. Nigeria is also suffering from unmanageable debts regardless of the available oil resource! There is no a “well planned debt” like you would want to tell the audience here! Mr. Evil, you seem not to understand what debt is all about and how it affects the growth, development and wealth of a nation. Kenya will soon collapse if the current debt levels are not properly managed and controlled. Ruto seems to a debt happy type of a guy as he robs Paul to pay Susie across the street! Only an ordinary layman of your caliber would simplistically assume that being in debt is a fashionable enterprise! The advanced countries have huge trust fund reserves which they could tap in times of needs or crisis - BTW: Norway is one such country! if interest on debt is 10% of 9 trillion then the government over 10 years has repaid at least 7 trillion on interest only.hence the 6.4 trillion difference.but the local bonds/bills will be screwed over time no doubt, either by inflation or default.

In the 2nd year, 2nd term of UhuruRuto + Handshake, money disappeared, cash circulation ever since took a hit. Right now, we are circling the drain, there is no money out here.
Ruto needs to roll back every taxation and economic change he has made (including loans borrowed) or we will sink like the Titanic by April next year. Niku baya huku nje, pesa hai tembei. It’s a bloody desert.
