    Thanks for the feature, Pan! Just a heads-up - we also have an actual ceramic AIO Nano Surface Primer that we added to our line not long after launching NSPs. It's called NSP Z1 and it uses a blend of different abrasive sizes along with a modified version of the nanogel that actually applies a ceramic coating as opposed to merely laying down the matrix of anchor points.

    I have used the 3D One on a couple of cars and very leased with it. In my experience on a 2014 Mazda and 2005 Tacoma, I probably could have gone with a more aggressive compound, or perhaps cleaned my pads more often. I worried before I used the product it would be too much correction, but found in my case it is pretty gentle. So I was glad to have chosen that based on Pans reviews. I have a 2016 Subaru mostly garaged that I will use the 3D One on as I am confident not to much paint correction occurs. Can’t wait for the pad vid too. Thanks Pan you’re the man.

      I've had a pleasant experience with Essence Plus on single stage cars. I used it on a solid black single-stage Porsche 964 and it worked great. It finishes out just like essence but with a bit more durability and protection than regular essence and much more than most waxes. Just don't forget to clean and change out your pads more frequently with single stage paint to get the most out of the products you're using (but I'm sure you know that)!

    I just finished a massive detail on my ‘21 Hyundai sonata N (fairly soft paint) with carpro essence, a scholl purple intermediate pad and a 21mm DA polisher. I was over the moon with the cut level and the great finish on soft paint. The wipe off and complete lack of dust is an absolute dream too. Because I couldn’t help myself I went back over the whole car with an 8mm DA and a very soft scholl yellow pad to jewel the surface again with essence. Looks fantastic and I will be applying NV Nova Evo over the top now that it’s primed for a coating. I also polisher the door jambs and now this is protected by essence which is great.
    For some spot areas that needed some extra cut I used Scholl S20 black which gives great cut for me on soft paint with the Scholl blue pad on a 21mm DA polisher. Just left a bit of haze which essence instantly cleans up. I’ve used S20 on medium/harder paints and had great results with it as a one step cut and finish. It does dust quite a bit though, although perhaps I’m just a bit spoiled on how easy essence is to wipe up.
    Enjoying this series. Can’t wait for the pad video. I’ve been enjoying experimenting with different pads and liquids so keen to hear what you have liked.

    Pan, I painted a 29 Ford Model A with Tamco single stage paint. Had some dirt nibs and orange peel. So I wet sanded with Mirka autonet up to 2000 grit. Then polished with DiyDetail Gold Standard. I used their short pile wool pad and then their yellow foam pad. So far I have excellent results. They also have red foam pad they say to use with a rotary to finish it. I have not used the red pad yet. Thank you for your wonderful videos. Many of us trust your recommendations. Stay warm! It has been-5 degrees Fahrenheit here In Oklahoma! Don’t like that stuff. Tom

    I used the Turtle wax on my own personal car and I did my brothers black Civic and it did better than I thought, and I used the Rupese yellow pad, with a Grios Garage polisher. The car had a bunch of swirl marks when it was purchased and I can say only after a few passes (I didn't want to do too many on Honda's older paint) I got rid of maybe 75% of them. I just ordered the CarPro because I have been seeing great results from others and figured I would give it a try.

    Huge fan of this series! Its nice to see the Manufacturers chime in as well in the comments. I own a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse w/228,000 miles silver in color. It has had paint work done to most of the car. Not sure how hard or soft the clear is. I followed your recommendations with the 3D ONE paired up with buff and shine microfiber pad. Just that alone was a night and day difference. I then followed it up with Carpro essence paired up with their white gloss pad. I kick myself for not coating it after. The car came out better then its ever been. The body shop saw the car 10 years later and he liked how good of a job he did and its still holding up. I then broke it to him that I put in the effort to get it that way lol. I now have 2 coatings to choose from. Glass Parency or Cerakote. Since your last video I think I'm going to wait until Cerakote gets their curing time formula figured out before I have to do the job twice. The Glass Parency I've had unopened in my house for 2 years. Do you think its still save to use?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Most coatings are good for one year if unopened and kept in stable conditions. 1-3 months at best once opened. But you can try contacting GlassParency and ask them for their specific coating.
      And yes I would wait until the new version of Cerakote is released if you plan on applying that. If they get the curing right the product will be amazing as they promised.

    • @waynebauerjr7426
      @waynebauerjr7426 Před 5 měsíci

      Finally got a response back from Glass Parency on the shelf life of the coating. So here you are:
      Thank you for reaching out about your unopened bottle of Graphene. Since the bottle has not been opened and if it has been kept in a cool dry place away from sunlight, you should be able to use it. If you do not see any crystallization and there is no hardened bits, I would say it is good to use. You do not want to damage the painted surface with the coating if it has already hardened. Once it is opened it can depend. I would say no longer than 6 months.

    Fantastic video, Pan! Remember, with the NSPs the metric to look at is Cost per Service. One will find that the $$ spent to correct will be on par with, or better than the other fine products you featured because you only need about 1 ounce (30 ml) of a Nano Surface Primer for a 1-step correction. Thanks again!

    One added tip about The Turtle Wax Pro Wax And Flex Spray. Several other detailing channels have reported that the longer you can leave the vehicle alone after using the product, the higher the gloss gets and the more durable it becomes. Times of at least 24 but even 48 to 72 hours have been mentioned. Might be good idea to do a car Friday evening and let it sit until Monday morning

    3D One is the one-step I use in my business. Everytime after polishing I'm surprised by how a one-step product can be so effective in removing scratches and leave a very nice finish. In combination with a medium foam pad or a mircofiber pad, depending on the type of paint, it's always a succes.

    I have used a few of the products in this video and find them to work very well. For me Uno Protect worked great for my vehicle. I also tried one that you did not review, that being P&S Play Maker - All in One. At $42 USD for 32 oz. it worked VERY well and is very inexpensive. This product is infused with Bead Maker and the shine was second to none!

But I used to use Wizards products when I did it professionally. (I used to work at a few different dealerships,and cleaning things with more freshly painted surfaces was a common thing. Wizards products were created by a former body shop guy and they are body shop safe.) I have a 2012 Yukon with the pearl diamond tri coat, owned for almost 3 years now. Previous owner maintained the vehicle very well, the clear coat has a shine like it was just waxed after my 2 1/2 years of washing. I use a microfiber mitt with Chemical Guys Citrus wash. The clear has practically no orange peel, may have already been flattened but hard to say.
    I just bought a detail pressure washer with cannon, i'm curious to find out if it may have a coating and the best way to maintain the OE finish, also what coating is recommended for the first time user?
    I don't believe the clear would be any different than other GM models of that vintage but there's no scratches and I want to continue how the finish looks.
    I've used Meguiers ultra cut, fine cut on other vehicles for polishing, Klasse AIO, Natty's blue or #26 yellow for wax....but haven't used anything but soap and a mitt on this Yukon...would like to get a new arsenal of products.
    I know it's impossible to answer without seeing it, but looking for any tips on products moving forward.

    • @PanTheOrganizer

      There is no such thing to my knowledge, as car manufacturers sometimes change paint suppliers in the same production year, for a same model (supply chain issues, issues with the paint itself, change of contracts, etc). The only way to know soft, medium or hard paint is to do panel tests to find the appropriate compound, polish and pad combo for your specific paint and level of desired paint correction. But don't overthink that part of it.

    Hey Pan! Love the video. Just a quick question... If I use a All-in-One do I NOT need to use a compound? Or can I use a compound and then an All-in-One and it not be overkill?

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  Před 5 měsíci

      A traditional 2-step paint correction starts with a compound, and finishes with a polish. Both of those contain no protection. You add your protection after those 2 steps.
      Then you have a separate category. All-in-one. Those are typically a polish infused with some light protection that can last 1 month to a few months at best. It's meant to quickly polish and protect in one step. After using an all-in-one, you apply either a wax or a paint sealant. You would not apply a ceramic coating, as coatings need to bond to a virgin clear coat, so an all-in-one is not a good choice before applying a coating.
      All-in-ones won't achieve the same level of paint correction as a true 2-step process, for obvious reasons. The more time you spend perfecting the paint, the better the results.
      AIOs (all-in-ones) are meant for a quick and simple way to improve the appearance of paint, remove light swirls and scratches, and add a bit of protection too.

Since you literally need 2 pea size for the "primeing" after that it's just one tiny pea on the pad. When a spray imo will distribute it better and follows DR Beasley less is more for their NSPs. How about a collaboration between you and Brian from Apex on single stage paint correction tutorial. That would be awesome.🤔

      Yes. But keep in mind you will never achieve the same level of results as with machine polishing for obvious reasons.
      It takes a lot of time and an insane amount of wasted energy to hand polish, and the results are average at best, regardless of which polish you decide to apply by hand.
