The first part of the finale got me so scared because of all the suspense. The second part of the finale got me so emotional and I sobbed throughout the entire episode.
I really like this list, but I needed the scene were Adora saves Catra once and for all. Or when Catra asked Adora to stay. Actually I just need a Catra & Adora list.
I think what should've been added was Catra's mental breakdown when Scorpia left. I mean, it's not a good moment but it's a dramatic and emotional moment.
How about Catra being completely roasted to the ground by DT and being forced to face her own shit instead of running from it, or Catra saying “that’s a problem for FUTURE Catra and Adora”, or any time they “accidentally” hold hands when anything happens...
All right, I wouldn’t call what Shadow Weaver went trough a “redemption”. All she did was to demonstrate that even the most despicable person can do one good action in their life. At the end of the series she isn’t really a changed person compared to the person she was at the beginning. Her last act’s intention was to save Adora, which she already cared about, nothing’s changed. And consistently with her character, she never apologised to Catra, she thought what she did was fair til the end, and the last thing she said to her was “You’re welcome”, like “I’m not your mother, it’s not something I morally have to do, I’m doing you a favor, you should be thankful to me”. So yes she did a good thing, but she absolutely wasn’t redeemed, nor she wanted to be.
Yes. Like every villain on this show except Horde Prime, she wasn't pure evil. In fact, she seemed kind of amoral to me. She had her own goals, which sometimes changed, and she did whatever she had to do to achieve them. In the end, all she did was remember how her thirst for power had originated from the desire to protect her world and her people
I think her sacrifice was kind of an act of cowardice since she escaped apologizing to Adora and ESPECIALLY Catra for all the abuse, alongside all the other wrong-doings she's done.
@@bellablondon6172 but she only assists the heroes and changes sides to save herself and because she has no choice and even then she spends her time on her own schemes and like say still abuses her adopted child and plays favourites to deliberately screw with them. She's just a villain who was forced to side with the good guys and who never had a redemption (except for one act, which again she only did because she had to).
I find that moment heartbreaking because of the struggle Light Hope is going through when it happens. In the end, it's the memory of Mara that causes her to break her programming and I love that it's not the memory of Mara's sacrifice but something far more personal. It's a simple, quiet moment where Mara brings Light Hope flowers. No big final stand, no heroic last words, just an intimate moment between two friends. It's one of the moments that makes me cry.
Definitely one of the best shows in the last decade. Wish they expanded more on Adora's past, such as how she was sent to Etheria and more info on who her family was.
From what I know, they couldn't go too deep into Adora's backstory due to copyright issues with He-man. Dreamworks had thr rights for She-ra, but not He-man and Adora's past in the original cartoon relies heavily on the He-man lore.
If there was anything I could hope for, it's DreamWorks securing a deal with the He-Man copyright to have a movie that explores Adora's home planet, her twin brother, and of course, more of Adora and Catra's budding romance.
I 1000% agree! My favorite line is; “You should have seen her face when she noticed she was outsmarted AGAIN! ‘How is the horde always 2 steps ahead?! Angry Sparkle, Growl!’” And yes. I recited that from the top of my head, I remember that scene easily. 😌I am proud of it.
“I can't cry on cue! Whenever a role calls for tears, the only thing that helps is thinking about children falling. They're tears of laughter, but no one can tell the difference!” That's my favorite Double Trouble line.
She ra means everything to me 💗. I’m so glad I gave it a chance once I saw the trailer for the first season instead of being picky back then! The rides been amazing and I need another!
The night the final She-Ra season aired. Me sleeping. Eyes shot open and sat up, “I sense a disturbance. As if thousands of fans had screamed in joy, because their OTP has been made cannon.” Falls back alseep
Nooo, still toxic. Adora had scratches from Catra MANY times. Imagine it in real life, having scratches from your partner - would that be okay? No, it's still violence. Catra behaves violent many times against Adora
jhimbeere Oh please, you’re just jealous that u don’t have an amazing girlfriend like Catra or Adora. And you’re just too blind, maybe get your eyes checked? Or your brain? Catradora forever!
jhimbeere i mean she ra fans including me glaze over all the terrible stuff catra has done but still the ship is great, it isn’t toxic because they aren’t like that towards each other anymore but still it’s very understandable
Sophia Escareno i doubt someone wants a girlfriend or partner who used to try to kill you and almost ended the world killing everyone along with it. but it’s a great cartoon so what can i say.
@@non5025 Glazing over Catra's actions is doing her character a disservice. It should be an accepted part of who she was. Even in the finale when Adora's shown her projected memories of the different Catras, there's a shot of her in front of a conquered Salineas. The show made sure you felt the full weight of everyone's choices.
“Save the cat” should have been on this list, the whole episode is just *chefs kiss* and shadow weaver is definitely not a hero or redeemed. She was abusive, manipulative, incredibly toxic and a horrible person.
I think that Catra and Adora had such a complex relationship and so many moments. The thing that I love most abt Catra admitting that she loves Adora isn't her saying "I love you I always have" like don't get me wrong that was beautiful but that was always obvious to me, it was two other sentences. At the beginning of her speech she said "you've never given up on anything. Not even on me", damn that got me crying because it was true. Adora tried to get Catra to the side of good all through the show. The other sentence was "please just this once. STAY." GOD THAT BROKE ME I couldn't handle it anymore. Catra never had anybody except for Adora. Adora was the person she trusted most. And then Adora left her. So Adora staying and not dying by the end FOR CATRA showed that she finally chose her over everyone else. And then they saved the universe together. That's THE moment for me. You know along side a couple of others. But like seriously give them their own list I can give you 20 moments.
Like are we not gonna talk about how nothing from “Save The Cat” or the part where adora BROKE the sword is on this list, not even in the honorable mentions
Catra turning on the Horde should’ve bin MUCH higher on the list. Not to mention the moment Adora came back for Catra & found She-Ra again wasn’t even MENTIONED!!!
@@rosey480 Neither do I. Not only are they really a cute couple but they also bring out the best in each other. Johannes Seyfried all I know is Catra is the ONLY character 2 reduce me 2 tears MULTIPLE TIMES! 😭 Was Zuko’s arc better? Arguably yes, but was it as emotional 4 me 2 the same degree as Catra? No.
@@sparxstreak02 Well, it's nice that Catra got such a reaction out of you. For me it was the exact opposite. And I actually shipped them back in S1. But that was of course before Catra turned into a Super Villain and tried to kill everyone.
I loved Catra’s turn around but it was poorly paced. She had maybe seven episodes to fix herself, compared to her four seasons of cruelty and almost-genocide before hand. I mean, she did some *really* fucked up shit, man. And they basically made it work because “shit wait I love Adora so I’ll just simp for the rest of the series”
With the way the show ended, Adora talking about one final mission....I BETTER SEE A MOVIE ABOUT THAT MISSION! Gimmie a She-Ra movie! *whispers* pretty please?
I really liked when glimmer played im the queen card on her friends, finding out maras side of light hopes story ( the Mara episode is really good) and glimmer and catra moments
My favourite part is the end of Season 4, where the energy from Etheria is being siphoned, with Light Hope nearly powering up the weapon, the whole scene is so intense with them being pulled out of Despondos, and that final, "Do it" from Light Hope, showing she truly isn't just a program, then Adora breaking the sword, it's the best way they could have ended the season. Although the part that always makes me cry is when Light Hope utters her last words "Thank you", before pixilating away. This episode is my favourite, although there are some that rival it, in season 5.
I actually love how the final victory basically comes down to True Love's Kiss! It's just such an awesome spin on an often considered outdated trope. And it just drives the series' overall message home: Love; familial, platonic, romantic, etc is what makes you strong and what saves the day.
For the most part, I agree with the rankings of this list. My only nitpick with the series is that once again He-Man and She-Ra aren't reunited in media. In truth, while She-Ra doesn't need He-man for her show to work, I really hope that Adora is one day reunited with her brother Adam and the rest of her family.
@@johannesseyfried7933 that's the one thing I don't get. How can someone get the rights to She-Ra without the rights to He-Man, when they have been a part of the same universe since She-Ra first came to be? I recall in the 2002 He-Man and the masters of the Universe cartoon that Hordak, who was She-Ra's enemy, made appearances in that show, and was set up to be the main villain of the third season before the series was cancelled. I don't get the legal issues that happened between then and the start of She-Ra and the princesses of power that kept the siblings of Adam and Adora apart, but I still hope that they eventually get reunited in this continuity and/or the next.
I would put the ‘battle of bright moon’ as number 10, and ‘add save the cat’ (Adora VS Chipped Catra) as number 2. It’s not even mentioned! But their fight on Horde Prime’s ship was one of the most emotional moments and one of the biggest turning points in the series. An idea: top 10 Catra and Adora moments
I think you guys missed a couple for example when glimmer blaming adora for her mothers death, the squad finding out entrapda was accutaly working for the horde willing, or adora and marya meeting in a way.
important question : what is your favorite "hey Adora" ? mine is the one from Save the cat (so sweet, cute and emotional) and the demonic one from the season 3 finale (creepy but cool)
Don't mind me, just crying again. This is too beautiful. I love this series. Not only Catradora, but also all the other characters, their arcs, subplots.... It is amazing.
Probably the most emotional moment for me was when Shadow Weaver legit redeems herself and saves Adora and Catra. "You're welcome." I'm a 29 year old man and I cried.
I can’t believe they didn’t include the moment when Adora breaks free on beast island saying she won’t give up or when she stops the cavern exit from collapsing and says “I’m not leaving anyone behind” they were both so amazing
This is my favorite show of all time. I don't get emotional, and I don't cry. But that kiss at the end makes me tear up every time. It's the best climax to any series I have ever seen.
I finished watching it for the first time six months ago and I can’t seem to get over it. My friend and I just finished watching it (her first time) tonight. Made almost all my friends and my sister watch it 😂
Catra and Adora have a relationship that develops with the seasons. We see that they have a very strong bond even when they fight and for me it is obvious that they love each other not in friendship but in love. spoiler: The prom scene shows it by the way I find it and it's not the only one. The scene of the citadel broke my heart especially when Catra said, "I will miss you very much" after Adora's crying. And when the two admitted their feelings, I also cried, it touched me, their love is strong and the kiss was beautiful. If we're talking about Catra, I've always loved her because I understand her pain. She suffers a lot and needs Adora it's obvious. She feels terribly alone and lost in the depths of her heart just like me. We also see the evolution of Catra and Adora through the seasons. So the end is beautiful ...
I've just finished watching She-Ra for the first time. And it's now one of my favourite animated shows ever. That entire final episode - but especially Catradora's kiss alone - has to be one of the greatest and most beautiful moments in the history of animation.

Ikr “tragic backstory” IM SORRY wHAT😀
Catras Redemption was a Masterpiece?
Are you sure you didn't try to write Zuko?
Johannes Seyfried all I know is Catra is the ONLY character 2 reduce me 2 tears MULTIPLE TIMES! 😭
Was Zuko’s arc better?
Top 10 moments from Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts
Dreamshade not yet. They must finish the series first
I actually looked up recently that season three is supposed to air this October, specifically October 12. Unfortunately it might be the final season
I agree they need to do that list, but they’re not done with the series yet.
Yes PLEEEASE!!!
With the way the show ended, Adora talking about one final mission....I BETTER SEE A MOVIE ABOUT THAT MISSION! Gimmie a She-Ra movie!
*whispers*
pretty please?
NO YOU'RE CRYING! IM JUST GLAD THEY FINALLY MADE AN ALL SHE RA VIDEO
I really liked when glimmer played im the queen card on her friends, finding out maras side of light hopes story ( the Mara episode is really good) and glimmer and catra moments
You know when Entrapter said Improfection is beautiful in his eyes she said your beautiful because he sees himself as inprofekt.
Awesome. I luv this show. I hope there is a movie.
There will be
Soon
Yes.yes I do have the nerve to like and comment on my own comment.
Now THIS is the content I signed up for
What I'd give to hear Angela say "GLIMMAH" again TwT
RIP Angela and Shadow Weaver
Next She-Ra list - Top 10 Catradora Moments❣️
Yes! We would love to see that!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR DOING THIS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR A SHE RA VIDEO FOR AGES!!!! 💖💖💖💖💖
7:34 "Mermeesta" xD
I actually love how the final victory basically comes down to True Love's Kiss! It's just such an awesome spin on an often considered outdated trope. And it just drives the series' overall message home: Love; familial, platonic, romantic, etc is what makes you strong and what saves the day.
me personally
Catra''s declaration of love
surprised the first time
for the remaining seasons and final season
I thought their relationship was more sisterly
not lovers
it was a real revelation for me
Really? It surprised you?
Catradora was about as subtle as a Hammer to the Face.
I just finished the series finale like an hour ago. That was fast.
Nobody:
The narrator lady: M E R M E S T A
For the most part, I agree with the rankings of this list. My only nitpick with the series is that once again He-Man and She-Ra aren't reunited in media. In truth, while She-Ra doesn't need He-man for her show to work, I really hope that Adora is one day reunited with her brother Adam and the rest of her family.
Noelle doesn't have the Rights to He-Man, so if we DO see Adam and Adora together, it won't be in this Reboot.
I hope there's a part 2 for this 'cause there's more SPOP moments where that came from
Agreed
I would put the ‘battle of bright moon’ as number 10, and ‘add save the cat’ (Adora VS Chipped Catra) as number 2. It’s not even mentioned! But their fight on Horde Prime’s ship was one of the most emotional moments and one of the biggest turning points in the series.
An idea: top 10 Catra and Adora moments
Basically every moment involving Catra.
I think you guys missed a couple for example when glimmer blaming adora for her mothers death, the squad finding out entrapda was accutaly working for the horde willing, or adora and marya meeting in a way.
Top 10 The Dragon Prince moments.
Time to rewatch shera *again* 😃
One character who I can't hate because I relate to her: Scorpia! (I'm also a hugger)
come on, the moment from season 5, episode "Save the cat" when Adora cosplays Aang is impossible to surpass.
I have been wanting a she-ra movie ever since I finished season 5 and more then anything I want to see Catra’s first introduction to BrightMoon.
The entirety of this video just screams fan service, and I am here for it
This is so fantastic!
I'm missing the return of She-ra moment in S5 Ep6 "Save the Cat".
I mean holy shit!
Agreed! GREAT score. GREAT visuals. GREAT scene!
important question : what is your favorite "hey Adora" ?
mine is the one from Save the cat (so sweet, cute and emotional) and the demonic one from the season 3 finale (creepy but cool)
"Shadow Weaver's redemption arc" y'all hear sumn
Don't mind me, just crying again.
This is too beautiful. I love this series. Not only Catradora, but also all the other characters, their arcs, subplots.... It is amazing.
Probably the most emotional moment for me was when Shadow Weaver legit redeems herself and saves Adora and Catra. "You're welcome." I'm a 29 year old man and I cried.
Slightly unearned, but yeah. Great moment
Entraote and Hordak "Friendship" moments ;)
Daniel Bayonetta Suchti for Life Entrapta, but yes, you’re so right.
honorable mention: Scorpia saving Perfuma, Sea Hawk and Double Trouble at that underwater club.
Mermeesta XD
Edit: I cried so much when both Shadow Weaver and Angella died. Those scenes were so sad...
how did not one of the scenes from “save the cat” make it on here. not even an honourable mention😭😭😭😭
This show ABSOLUTELY, 100% NEEDS a movie!!!!!!!!!
Honestly, “You’re a bad friend” is underrated asf
I can’t believe they didn’t include the moment when Adora breaks free on beast island saying she won’t give up or when she stops the cavern exit from collapsing and says “I’m not leaving anyone behind” they were both so amazing
This is my favorite show of all time. I don't get emotional, and I don't cry. But that kiss at the end makes me tear up every time. It's the best climax to any series I have ever seen.
I just got finished watching She-Ra on Netflix last night! It was so good I couldn’t stop watching it for these last few weeks!
I finished watching it for the first time six months ago and I can’t seem to get over it. My friend and I just finished watching it (her first time) tonight. Made almost all my friends and my sister watch it 😂
YES SHE RA
The fight between adora and catra in “save the cat” was also amazing!
