"People can do quite well with Hashimoto's" WHERE? HOW? Because I have not found any help whatsoever. Years of complete suffering.
Why do these doctors make it seem like its so easy, yet, none help you

I had to go vegan, with low sugar, low starches and no gluten to gain control in combination with my medications taken daily. Without making such a drastic choice, my body suffered.

Thyroid levels can be normal. Your doc needs to check for antibodies which can be elevated even with normal thyroid levels.

In general, the cause is a lack of nutritional intake in the form of iodine or iodine. It can occur after consuming large amounts of iodine which induces a mild enzymatic disorder which causes inhibition of hormone synthesis in the thyroid gland.
    Other causes can include:
    - Radiation used to treat certain types of cancer
    - Medicines used to treat hyperthyroidism
    - Gene mutation with expression in the form of thyroperoxidase, a heme-binding enzyme found in the tyrocyte membrane.
    - Mutation of the DEHAL1 gene with an expression in the form of iodothyrosine deiodinase, an enzyme that takes iodine molecules from the residue of iodothyrosine compounds for hormone biosynthesis by the thyroid gland.
◙ ◙ ◙ Some of the common symptoms of hyperthyroidism are fatigue, muscle cramps, depression, pallor, goiter, osteoporosis, and lack of sweating. Patients experience decreased heart rate, decreased contraction power and diastolic function, decreased cardiac output and increased systemic vascular resistance; which causes an increase in diastolic pressure and a decrease in systolic pressure. The sooner you start, the sooner you can restore your health. And that's what you want, right? For more information, please visit: tinyurl.com/fsbfseyes4?dszbzdg >

You wouldn't just have chronic hives but also swelling under the skin. Those who do not have those two and hashimoto's would not be helped with ivermectin.
