Nice work, do the panels have no interference with the getting all the door panels roof l8ner and carpet back, what is the insulation thickness

Dynamat Extreme is only 1.7mm thick. When applying sound deadening we take great care to cut out around clip points to ensure proper refitment of the panels

Is it good just for noise isolation or also for thermal isolation?

Dynamat Extreme provides both noise and thermal protection. There is also a closed cell foam product Dynaliner we use for even more thermal performance.

The original floor carpet and insulation is re-installed over the applied Dynamat. This Aluminum Butyl layer does not hold water and actually gives an extra barrier to penetrate.

I have one concern that if I sound proof the car the noise from the windows will be much clearer or louder I guess since the rest of the car is well insulated.

Is the material porus or ventilated to rule out moisture retention inside?

The Dynamat Extreme is an Aluminium Butyl compound that does not hold water. We also wash the panels with isopropanol first and use a roller on the product to ensure no air pockets.
