PROTACs (Proteolysis Targeting Chimera)

A PROTAC is capable of removing unwanted specific proteins. PROTACs are composed of two active domains and a linker. The two active domains are covalently linked, and they are protein-binding molecules. These domains include one capable of engaging an E3 ubiquitin ligase​ and the other binds to the target protein meant for degradation​.
