Great stuff, Jorge.
And you're too kind. Thanks for the shoutout. Hope all is well.
Thank you so much, Quentin! Enjoy the book. This is a great one to read during the semester, and I get the feeling you'll like the poetry. I hope you're doing great!
Hi there. Waiting for your book in this style. 🙂 Good review.
Haha, thank you so much, my friend! 😀 The book... well, maybe someday. Hope you're doing great!
@@JorgesCorner Thanks for asking. Considering the circumstances (inflation, job and so on) it is okayish. I wished I had more time to read and write and watch films, but I am most of the time to tired when I would have the time. Well, tomorrow I don't have to work, so: Yay! 🙂I am looking forward to a few books that will be released end of this month and next month: Cartarescu, Gombrowicz and a big G. Perec biography, so at least a few bookish things I am waiting for. - I hope you are doing doing well.
Same here, my friend. I can totally relate to your situation. Those are great authors! Sounds like you have some amazing reading to look forward to. 🙂 I need to give Gombrowicz another chance. One of these days...
@@JorgesCorner Yes, the big G! I think all his novels are flawed - but in a good way, if that makes sense. It is like he has unreachable goals but tries it anyway. His "easiest" novel is, I guess: "Possessed", which gets a lot of mediocre reviews because it is too entertaining or so. I really like that one. On the other hand "Cosmos" is maybe the one I find the most interesting (from the viewpoint of a writer). There is a nice film based on this book by Andrzej Żuławski (his last film).
I am a firm believer in unreachable goals. 😀 Thank you for the guidance! When I continue with my reading of his work, I will look for these novels.
