The Gold wing is the best motorcycle that Honda ever engineered together, best handling,best performance,longest lasting engine, you could literally travel the globe on a Gold Wing with no issues.
I just bought a '79 gl1000 with 31000 miles last August. I jumped on it and took it 1500 trouble free miles round trip. Runs great. Love these old goldwings. Thanks for showing yours.
What a supeb bike i had the pleasure of buying one these brand new from jim Allan motorcycles bathgate in scotland it was the kz model and the first one sold in Scotland mine was same colour as one in video but handlebars were not as high, at the time 1979 if i remember bike cost me £2160 a lot of money for a bike back then think i took payments over 3 years and traded in my honda 400/4 for it happy memories . I was stationed in Japan in 1979. Domestic bikes over 750 cc were exported only. Military guys would buy them. They were in crates. You had to assemble them. Guys on base would drive to the manufacturer and pick them up.
Hi, I,m helping a friend out with a 1980 honda GL1100 project bike. Sitting on the bike could someone tell me where the left and right hand coil wires go to which cylinders.Does the left coil come down to cylinders 2 and 4 left and righthand coil 1 and 3 on the right. pretty much confused as the coils are not numbered.........HELP
There's no "leather" on that shelter cover. Your don't know what you're talking about, ...Mr. Salesman. 😕 Too many inconsistencies in your stories with these Goldwings that you try to sell. 😒
