That was my dream bike back in the day, with that Vetter fairing and of course the Vetter panniers. Shame to make that into a cafe racer. I ended up with a BMW 60/7 RT former Dutch police bike with the Krauser Panniers I was happy with that. Its yours and you got to do what you want of course. I just hate cafe racers.☹
Hey CW I have the exact same bike and Im having the same problem with the rough idle and hesitation with the throttle. It wasnt this way when I bought it two years ago but i didnt ride last summer and it sounds like yours. What did you do to correct the problem?
Modern ethanol based fuels are murderous for carburetors when they sit for much longer than a year. Wouldn’t hurt to run some carburetor cleaner through it and/or remove them to clean out the fine passageways.
Thx for the video. Is there any chance you’d be interested in selling the grab bar behind the seat? I imagine you’ll be changing the seat and removing the grab bar. Good luck with your bike. Dean Fehr

NO throttle ..full choke..will start up straightaway...no point in operating the Twistgip.
