Linda my Doctor said opening windows can be worse on allergies especially if you have them to other outdoor allergies and the heat will make you cook inside and to poor Princess Bella. The allergy filter is the best but change it every 30 days instead of 90 days it works best this way. Piggy and I have all year allergies also if you are not using it yet try singular and Zrtec it helps me a lot if it gets 2 bad take a Benadryl but use caution it can make you sleepy. Singulair is a horrible drug w/ bad side effects. I took it yrs ago and did okay but I work in Pulmonary and it is slowly falling out of favor. Allergies are all about common sense. Clean your home, purify your air, get rid of carpet, no stuffed animals, lay off the perfumes and air fresheners, etc. Try nasal rinses. They are the favored tx by both ENT and Pulmonologists.
And dust collectors. Nobody needs knick knacks all over their home. And it has been proven, over and over INDOOR allergens are worse than outdoor. Let her open a window if she wants.
