It’s because before crossprogression when you redeemed a twitch pack it would give one to both of your accounts a pc and a console and when you merged them since you didn’t open then on your console account you can now open them on your pc
My ubi account got logged into from an IP from Germany like 2 years ago. I contacted support after I got the email informing me, and they had told me my account was permanently banned and they aren't able to reverse it because "the security of my account is my responsibility". I tried logging in on my playstation and it still worked, despite being told I was banned. Fast forward to now, I can't play on playstation because that ban has now carried over. The funniest part? I don't even own a PC capable of playing R6, nor do I even have R6 purchased for PC.
This is intentional, packs that are "outdated" or whatever can no longer be opened, validating the given opportunity to convert them into r6 credits/renown.
