  • This is how I Installed my Armory Craft SAO hammer in my P229 Legion SAO. Armory Craft recommends a gunsmith work on any pistol, do so at your own risk.
    Coupon code: HAMMER5SAO
There are two types of Hammers, one for P229s and one for everything else. Make sure you know what you are getting.

      They are, SAO or DASA?

@@TheFallingHammer DASA. I went that route because I prefer to not have a safety, I'd like to get one of those flat trigger shoes the SAO guns have though

Thanks for the video. I installed a new nickel hammer today in my 226 black legion. Your video made it a lot easier to do.

I tried to install a hammer on this same (P229 SAO) gun and totally smashed the hammer reset spring. I wish I’d watched this video before trying this install. This little spring is inexpensive, so I lost a little time.
Let me suggest one minor thing; when installing the parts on the sear pin start off like you did using a 1/8 punch. Add the parts on the punch. Now, slowly push the punch out with the sear pivot pin. When the pin is in put the sear spring under the post. This way you don’t risk mis-aligning all the parts when the punch is pulled out and the sear pin is inserted.

Hello, just installed the trigger and hammer. I know I have to use the decock to remove the slide now but now if I pull the trigger nothing happens until the very moment the trigger moves forward (releases) then the click (fires). Please help - sig p229r elite enhanced 40

Is this coupon code still ok to use 4 years later?

How do you think this compares to a 2011? Was thinking about a Staccato P, but this being $800 less makes it really intriguing.

I left the 1911/2011 world for SAO sigs. 🤷🏼‍♂️

I would trust a SAO 226 over a 2011 as far as reliability.

Thanks for the input! Really liking the idea of a SAO Sig. Looking forward to a full review.

@@droid9361 I adore them. Easily my favorite pistol design. Don't get me wrong the 1911 platform is awesome, but the sig is less finicky and just eats everything everytime. I can't recommend them enough, my 226 is my go to for matches and 229 for EDC. I'll get a review out for you soon

TheFallingHammer Pretty please video review (with shooting) of your comped legion 229. I’ve been eying these PMM comps and I have one 229 legion and two sao 226 legions and no one has any videos/reviews on the PMM comps on them. 👊🏻🙏🏻
