I have a pair , very handy gadget ! The other end cutter I like is the iteration with a flat hammer face on it , it performs several functions , and saves space in my Veto TPXXL .
I needed to clip the tips off of some nails (I was using a dremel). After watching a video from Parkland about the Knipex Bolt End Cutting Nippers I bought a pair. Wow! They are fantastic, thank you Parkland for the info on them!

I can use it to cut through 4mm steel strips in which I always cut with the side only 1-2 mm of material at a time.
I can eat through an abus granite plus folding lock.
When I have to cut 16s with these style I like to give it a good hearty squeeze then wiggle it a few times if I have room.
Wow! This thing can even cut Superman's toe nails!

Why does everyone pronounce it as ka-nipex? The k is silent 🤦♂️
are they compound leverage? or just more robust?
The pivot is at the same level as the cutters giving them more leverage versus the pivot being below the cutters.
