It's been quite a trip so far, don't you? Together with these guys, playing our lifetime soundtrack from the inside, lifting our souls beyond contemporary troubled dark times. They are those who will leave current and future generations astonished... Then, youngsters, perplexed, will wonder... how such free souls, like ours, could have existed back then. 🤘

I remember taping this on a JVC tape deck in my parents living room. These four songs are probably the reason I was up to see the band in Northwich on the 19th May, 2018. Pretty much 28 years later after the Peel sessions. They did a superb alternate version of Can't Even be Bothered too. What a band.

The charlatans for ever walk with me you can talk to me how high were so pretty autograph. Then you love them all I know I always have and still do even more so now love their lyrics and sense of fun they had I did see them in Dublin
