Oh, it's a call from Judy, the lead buyer at Stern's Department Store. They'll be doing some restocks today of watches, lighters, clocks, and luggage. I'll also review with Judy our discounted small jewelry boxes. Lots of page turning and writing in pencil in a very crinkly sales notebook.

I’ve been following you for years. I know you recently transitioned your channel to a different focus, but you and Moonlight Cottage really are my two big inspirations for ASMR in an immersive set-which is why I decided to try my hand at ASMR using all my retro tchotchkes. Love love Dr. Hastings and all the Victorian roleplays, workhouse, etc. I’m a retired Victorian literature professor, so no surprise there. 🤷🏼♀️😉 Anyway, thank you sincerely for everything you’ve done for the community at large as well as for every individual you touch. Your voice is on another level altogether, and that British accent doesn’t hurt one bit. 🫠🫠🥰

Naturally relaxing voice
Oh, I’m glad you think so, Patrick. What’s funny is that I never really liked my voice. So my first soft-spoken video was quite nerve wracking. 😂

You're in the hospital?? ♥️ When I had my health issues this past summer, access to ASMR on my phone was my anti-stress lifeline. My roommate had her TV on 24/7 (even while sleeping in the middle of the night) and the constant laugh tracks were torture.

@@MidModMeridianASMR oh no! I’m lucky I am in a private room. Currently can’t walk since I fell almost 2 weeks ago. Trying to get me in a rehab o help me walk again. I have have kidney failure and on dialysis. I do what’s called peritoneal dialysis. I have a catheter in my stomach and it’s very susceptible to infection so I need to be alone to do my treatment. I’m so sorry they were inconsiderate. I have my AirPods with me everytime I come here so I’m not bothering anyone when I open and watch all my streaming services….

Love the paper crinkles & your soothing voice. I am impressed with your retro props. Never saw a phone that color & I spend lots of time in antique shops, flea markets, estate sales & ebay!
They even had those rotary phones in pastel pink. Lol
The yellow was actually pretty popular, as was mint green and sky blue.
We had a mint green one, later, a blue one...... very pretty.

You had your own rotary phone, Devotee? My brother and I only had access to the yellow kitchen phone hanging on the wall. Eventually my parents got a really long cord and we could stretch it into our bedrooms, but I had to sit in the floor right by my door; couldn't pull it in any further. 😂😂
Janice, we had a yellow one on the kitchen wall (plus one in my parents' room). We also had a party line--had to share it with a neighbor down the street. Hard to believe now that that was an actual thing. 😂
I remember when we go the extremely long cord---it seems like a small thing now but what luxury it was to stretch the phone into a more private place! @@MidModMeridianASMR
