Platinum hasn't worked in this since like the beginning of the year. Development was taken completely in-house by Cygames.
Regardless though, it looks fun.

I think he meant the way the controls and hud is shown just like dragon's dogma but this game is honestly reminding me more of monster hunter, dragon's nest and final fantasy with anime just being the main theme doesn't help that i can hear the VAs of Kakashi and happy from fairy tail and if there is more than im not familiar with them

They’re all pre-existing characters only within the Granblue world with some new characters being added into the game as well. For the main story, you will choose between Gran or Djeeta, the hero and heroine. Vyrn and Happy are both voiced by Rie Kugimiya.

No and no. The game will be brought to the west, for sure. They’re interested in releasing the game for Steam as well so that may happen when the game is finally released.

That’s because the scale of the game increased some time ago. They didn’t give a release date this time to avoid sending the team into crunch time to meet a date. This is only showcasing the multiplayer mode. Multiplayer was going to be a thing in this game for some years now.
They better control the scale then, that's what sequels are for.

don't count elsword, it never mean to be like this game. From the start korean developer made elsword as a simple game only. While Japanese developer planned Granblue Fantasy to be a huge game from beginning.

This game isn't like God Eater. It's a single player story driven RPG like a Xenoblade game but with an online mode attached to it. Actually, a better comparison would be Dragon Age Inquisition with the way that game handles multiplayer.
