Right!? Like, you try to look on the positive side, but you keep getting angrier and you lose your sound judgment... lol... and it doesn't help when your teammates are trash talking each other instead of playing.
It always gets on my nerves when ppl start to insult others randomly. Yesterday 2 of my teammates started insulting me because I "didn't do anything for all the game". In the end I was the second one with most damage and I was the support 🤦♀️

Ikr. I honestly always try to be as positive as I can but sometimes it's impossible. It's fine when the team is just feeding and having a bad game, then I can shotcall or something. But when someone is feeding yet still feels the need to blame someone/everyone else, or even ruin the game for everyone just because they themselves weren't having fun, it just fucking ruins my whole day and I don't think I'll ever understand that mentality
One time our autofilled support threatened to lock in yasuo so I gave in and let him mid. We ended up losing because he fed the enemy fizz so hard he deleted everyone and then had the audacity to blame me and the adc (who were going even in lane mind you) and started feeding the ezreal we worked hard not to feed as xayah and neeko
Or that time our ahri DCed at 15 despite the fact that we were hard winning simply because she didn't get any ganks and was 1/2/0 while the rest of us were about 4/1/2
And it feels so frustrating because they don't give a shit about reports and they really have no reason to when we all know they most likely aren't getting banned
And in the end, even carrying those games just doesn't feel rewarding either. All the mental energy drained for just +14 lp and likely no honors from a team like that aswell as nothing but a "broken ass champ lmao" from the enemy team after outplaying the shit out of them isn't worth it.
I'm 6 months into playing league. the amount of toxic narratives and attitudes is insane, and this weird expectation for everyone else to do what they're supposed to leads to probably one of the worst social experiences in gaming I've had. literally everyone is 'bad' at this game. the game relies on a fucking incredible number of variables and concepts that take years and years to come close to mastering, and yet everyone in every elo is mad at someone in their game for not doing what they're 'supposed' to. So far focusing on making my early game replicable, VOD reviews, 3 GAME BLOCKS!! (literally overpowered), and /mute all have lead to a steady climb

The only way I find league fun anymore is by playing with at least 1 friend, I can't remember the last time I went into solo queue
I'm hardstuck unranked because I just play casually for fun and only play ARAM these days, I will play Norms only if I have a full group to play with.

And to anyone mad at me for not FF'ing this was 100% winnable, we have huge kill advantage, objective advantage, and were winning every actual team fight 4v5. It was him giving up and AFK'ing in Jungle that turned it unwinnable.

@@anime6161 in my case i usually go for doran's shield because of the extra hp and passive stats. Corrupting pots sounds like a nice idea but if your enemy knows how to poke you properly to burn your pots you might be at a disadvantage.

But sadly that would make ranked even worse, you get on average more people trolling or inting in the enemy team because you yourself dont troll or int so its only 4 in your and 5 in their team that can int.
Maybe not all of them get banned but like at least 60% of your games are either won or lost in champ select because your team either carries or hardints, if you would get your lp for the ~50% bad games back you would just freeclimb.

The Rito guy in email blamed the algorithm being super aggro against me and lifted the ban, but I'll never get the Yone emote/ story completed due to their faulty AI.
To quote Jellopocalypse, they're flying by the seat of their oversized clown pants. They have no idea what the boundaries are and instead of being human about it are turning a blind eye and saying reports/bans/bandaids are fixing the hemorrhages. Too many interactions for humans to judge, culture itself lacking a moral boundary for anonymous random gaming... it's a dumpster fire.
Imagine if individual skill mattered without having to be a challanger level player. Well, I guess we ll have to wait until 2030 for the ranked 1vs1 mode after the game died and everyone quit.

@Kleddy Cool shiiit, battlerite was a really great game. Sad it was dropped by the devs and didn't catch the attention of many people to keep it floating. Took me forever to find a match last i played.
I hate to admit it but DotA is a better balanced game that LoL. It likely always has been. Don’t get me wrong that game extreme hyper carries, crazy skills LoL would never touch, and other stuff that hard on new players. But it got a curve to it gameplay where that hyper carry is a peace of shit at the start not like LoL. And the supports hit like a truck early but fall later. For LoL it like everyone has to be able to do anything where the best way to win is to make you opponent loss there will to live or at least not work together

@@DeletedTroll My issue with them isn't the way they play the game nowadays. It's how they handle loss. They moan and whine about me not playing with them when it's them who actually bail first from repeated losses and stomps.
I've only raised my voice ONCE. I just let them play the way they usually do and watch as the enemies who are usually at the same skill as me run them down while I play fighting fires and catch up.
It is quite literally emotionally taxing and I believe they and me are better off separately playing.

Honestly. Its one of the biggest reasons why I don't forfeit 90% of the time. Even if its unwinnable, its kinda not fun to do well and then immediately they surrender. Theres more fun in the comeback and learning how to play from behind is a more valuable skill than knowing how to stomp

Got flame super hard bcs team cant peel u ,mid afk, jg feeding. that's why i surrendered 20-30 of my games, in low elo u either stomping others or got destroyed by smurfs.

Like ffs some balance changes happen for no real reason champions that should have been nerfed seasons ago are only getting noitced now like redemption and heal just got removed from her w passive pool it took them fucking 2 seasons to remove this free win trading rng bullshit and yone just an Assassin with free engage and escape at the time do I need to explain why this dump
I mean I think most of it is they just keep increasing damage and mobility creep then the game becomes stupidly snowbally. They try and buff tanks and they just flat out make them op because they have to much dmg and bruisers and assasains use the tank items just as well and instead of just making squishy targets more tanky as well to balance out the situation they just make random changes because they can't find the root problem and so they dig out the entire thing and restart with different problems that they can't seem to find the solution to. Another part is they have to many champions and they try and make every single one of them perfectly balanced but that's never going to happen. They should just legit acknowledge that there will always be a meta of good champions and then every season choose some champions that would make a fun team comp and actively make them the meta and balance around that and then throughout the rest of the season just add more champions and items to fine tune the game and then next season change everything up. Instead they just try and perfectly balance everything something is an obious problem despite trying to make everything perfectly balanced and it goes on for 6 months then they make random changes and the meta shifts multiple times always right before the casual players start actually learning the meta and start getting good and then they shift the meta which is just as broken. So they should just actively choose a meta that would be fun for all players and change the game a bit slower and just slowly fine tune there vision for the game for the season and then next season make an entire new vision.
i feel you rav, since season 3 i have notice a massive drop in ppl just having fun and playing the game, 70% time its either afk or some angry having a bad day player or a million other issues, but once in a while you get a good group. its really hard to enjoy league and I love league but even im wavering with all the sheer toxic issues.

season 3 was good because less chamos, less 1 shot champs, you could qss zed and fizz ults ect. riot really fucked the game with 200 yr champs, and tons of damage.
That about the last season LoL had gameplay that feed it strengths, LoL was never a team game it just a game you have teammates season 3 and before you could solo carry carry games and Supports were not useful(that not exactly correct), Supports were more sacrifices as in the Sacrificed themselves for the team, even people Main Support did it for the challenge. In many ways they were loved not hated back then as no one else wanted to be the weakest. People may think this is bad gameplay but it didn't create a dynamitic within the game you never see today.

Now that think about it it the same with jungling back then, It was created and played due to the challenge it created now it just easy mode.

I feel ya mate. I played a match today,trying out a new champ (ezreal) and I got told to "go play tutorial". My mid and top were feeding,I was ok for the most part,and our top flamed me 24/7. At some point,playing with actual teams is bad as f.
I mean if you never played a champ, it’s best to not practice it in ranked for the first time.

If you are below plat and you want to climb I strongly suggest /mute all'ing literally every game. You will not miss a single thing of value. If anything you will improve your use of the minimap by having to pay more attention to it and watching where your teammates are. Low elo players make shit calls and have egos as if they are diamond+. Just perma /mute all and you'll see that league is a lot more enjoyable when you don't see a million ?'s on your screen when you didn't go int with your jungler and support or if you had 3 waves crashing at your tower and they force a river fight. It's not worth the effort getting frustrated trying to explain to people who don't understand that missing 3 waves of gold and EXP is massive.

i played civi6 yesterday. for the first time online and EVERYone in the lobby was nice (and i looked quite long for a lobby where it actually filled up. and every lobby was nice and kind. Why cant people in league be nice and even when u lose or have a bad game not get personal and wish cancer for all ur family members. Sadge world.

This has been a huge problem this season IMO. People lose their minds at the mildest inconveniences. I can’t remember the last game I had where’ someone didn’t say FF or start a surrender vote, whether we were winning or losing.
on top of cracking down harder on feeders, I think adding a new casual mode would also go a long way of mitigating this. Imagine having something like nexus blitz as new permanent casual mode. It's a quick game mode, doesn't last longer than 20 minutes and you either have a fun quick time or bad short time.

Thesse new items are dump tbh let's give every role an item that covers major weaknesses without any negative to balance it people say just kite Darius but how do you kite a champion with a dash and slow at the same time with 700 movement speed adc with gale force can really mess up assassins if they used it to be in the middle of the fight tax collector is basically granting you elder drake buffs without the burn part anti heal is the most inconsistent Stat in the game sometimes it nullifies healing completely other times it just doesn't
This is why I tend to only play draft with premade teams. Of course there is times where even we fall into some of these categories but they dont compare to the fun you can have with your friends.

Looks like a normal game of League of Legends to me in solo queue. Had one game where I just whiff a couple Qs, or the hitbox says "MINION HIT", and our jungle proceeded to flame because "missing Qs". Coked-Up Werewolf never bothered to build a Mythic item, so he had no say on my play.

Feel your pain. I had a game where i went 16/6 but my top lane left and everyone on my team fed. I had 75% kp.
Every game's winnable, we all have won worse when the nexus is at 3% HP and the other team just decides to lick their toes and throw.
Just lost my promos again I won the first 2 games then got a vlad support and a 0/7 sion. Next game I queue up again got a pretty good support but again if you have one good teamate the chances are the rest are useless so yeah lost another one. 5th game I was way too tilted to even care queue up again and I get an afk... The game right now is a bit of a coinflip.

See but you are part of the problem by saying "5th game I was way too tilted to even care queue'd up again." That is a big part of why the ranked experience is so trash. If you are tilted then STOP queuing ranked. Go take a break, watch some TV/a stream or do something to calm your nerves and come back if you still want to play. FAR too many players do what you do and just spam queue ranked games and bring their tilt from previous losses into new games with players who weren't your teammates before.

Its not that I deserve challenger I dont think I am good but in these cases I do think its unfair to lose purely because of matchmaking.
i stopped playing league like 3 months ago and i dont regret a thing. and rav is constantly reminding me of my good choice.
I've always had good behaviour in LoL, but twice in these six months my internet dies for no reason or something (during ARURF or ARAM btw, I don't play rankeds), and I'm put on low priority for 5 matches.
Meanwhile, players keep insulting, trolling and so, and no one reports a thing.
That's part of the reason I don't play that much anymore, went from at least once or twice a day, to once or twice a week at most.
And friends who to play with, that's also a reason, most of them went to other games or are busy.
When i started playing league 3 months ago, boi it made me realize to hate your teammates more than the enemy team
Solution: play in a group to remove all RNG elements in your teammates. The only thing left to fear is your shit taste in companions.
But sadly you need 4 friends who are good at league for that.
From personal experience, the people/community only gets worse over time.

There are actually crazy ppl in league, I remember playing a game as adc twitch, supp was Nami. 3 mins into the game, 1st minion wave i believe and she complained "gg twitch afk farm" and went top for the rest of the game.
Man just uninstall the game, you will be 100x more productive, trust me.
I feel like overall league is getting more and more competitive and there's hardly fun and even if you win there isn't much enjoyment to it if let's say something bad happened during the game. Lets not forget to mention about the "special modes" aren't even that fun to play or relax and the special maps are nowhere to be seen these days. Its a vicious cycle

benn playing since the start , i never enjoyed league ever , there was always some other reason i played or my pc was trash so it was the only thing that worked , or i watched youtube and got hyped or some other shit , but never enjoyed it . its sucks , its addiction. like mobile games.
last time i played, Soraka was still able to give mana to other champs... i couldn't handle the toxicity and swapped over to HOTS. haven't gone back since, but i do enjoy Rav's rants, lmao

Solo carrying is a myth. It's a team game you have to win as a team.
Riot actually designed ranked to keep you at a 50% winrate as much as possible. Look it up.
Anyone who gives you a hard time for being hardstuck, just know it's not your fault and move on :)

No it's not a myth LOL. Low elo players say this shit so damn much as an excuse for why they can't improve and climb. If you are stuck in silver/gold and you can't climb it's because you focusing on things that are out of your control instead of things you can.
Literally do these four things and you will get out of silver/gold relatively easily: 1: Focus on CS'ing well over trading, 2: Focus on dying less than 3-4 times per game (no forcing bad trades, learn your trading patterns, ward better/early). 3: /mute all, and 4: force yourself to look at minimap for where your JG/team is much more often. I'm not kidding either. Low elo players are terrible at all of those things yet those are the things that make the difference between being silver/gold and getting plat. You don't even have to be a mechanically decent player at low elo to get plat. You just have to not have a mental breakdown in the chat/let other people tilt you because of chat and pings and focus on the things you can control: Your ability to CS, focusing on dying less in lane, /muting all because low elo players are mentally ill egomaniacs, and checking the minimap very often for your JG/team position.
@@YuYuYuna_ there's literally an algorithm in place to keep people at 50%. Lmao. I understand Rav isn't perfect, nor am I. Didn't say I was silver/gold either. I'm just saying, they don't want you to win, and carrying games is a myth in low ELO. Everyone tries to carry and dies because of it. You'll purposely be put with people who prevent you from going above a 50% winrate. It's been looked into.
i had a game similar to this where i got autofilled as jg and our raging mid Senna stole every camp from me till my team surrendered because i couldnt catch up from what she was taking from me.
I was feeling sad about this but the thing about the experiment made me laugh thank you 🙂
I think if you play solo this game can get annoying real quick but if you play with a friend or friends it’s more enjoyable. At least that’s how it is for me, and just remember it’s a game at the end of the day.

I know like 5 people that play league and all 5 of them are in silver or bronze so its almost the same as playing with average diamond players so can just as well play soloq.

But i feel you...I just got called to never play my main again and that i suck,and im not even in ranked yet...This is such a huge problem,i just enjoy league bc i just grown over it and dont care anymore.
The AFK thing seems to be a server issue, rather than a decision by the player cause I've seen it all around, while experiencing no toxicity from the afk players, and it's always dis and reconnect at a rapid rate, I don't even think that is possible to do manually.

i think there are so many trolls because it is so difficult to rank up and people just say fuck it. i got to silver in season 8, but now in season 11 i am still stuck in silver although i am much better at the game now. it makes no sense.
Another experience I had yesterday in ranked. My mid lane yasuo was (you guessed it) 0/5. He tried to flame me and I kindly told him not to talk to me like he isn’t the one who is 0/5.
You know how he responded to this?
Launched me into the dragon pit with all five of the enemy team and watched me die.
Yeah that one was new.
Oh and the cherry on top is he tried to flame me in all chat the rest of that horrible game after promptly murdering me.
I stopped doing ranked, it just takes too long to start. Seriously 10 minutes or more to get into a game
I've played since season one, and you're so right. The bigger the community got, the less fun the game got. :(
I dont even play like 15 games a day or anything. And yet i still run into griefers daily.
They die once in lane and start purposely running it down. Or refuse to play their lane when they get auto filled. Or are somehow worse than beginner bots while playing in gold.
I was in a lobby in a ranked game and I was mid. My adc player locks in seraphine cuz they do it in pro and it's off meta but it works. So I go "ok let me lock xayah mid to make up for the loss of dmg" and she starts raging and calling me a noob and toxic and troll.
Yes this is a glimpse into a lot of my League of Legends games and why I ended up resorting to Raid Shadow Legends which is in its own special and different way almost as much of a trial all by itself.
Man, I'm absolute dog shit at this game. My teammates have been "handing" me games for years and I still can't break gold.
