I could be wrong here, but I think the reason more VRAM performs better is because the game is able to cache more assets into the memory and stream them in and out more efficiently rather than constantly loading them in and loading them out thus resulting in better performance, but that doesn't give developers an excuse to stop optimizing their games because it's easier to develop for a GPU with Higher VRAM than one with lower VRAM. It should only be required when a developer comes out and literally says this game is too demanding and has so much stuff in it that it requires this level of GPU Minimum.
about Vram: how much vram will be future proof for now in low high end segment (should I get an rtx 4080 or rx 7900 xtx for gaming and small blender tasks)

Lol. You will find 1 game out of 100 that is not optimized well. That’s all. Same is true for 6 cores cpu and 16 gifs of ram. Very rarely you will find games that require 8 cores or 32 figs of ram. But those are the exceptions not the rule.
There isn't one but why do you think it's there??? :). A few weeks after my video, more and more channels came up with this, with a real discussion that for 2023+ games 8GB VRAM won't be enough anymore, that 12 or better 16GB will be needed. But of course we're only talking Ultra+ RT at 1440p rather 4K. It's a topic for discussion :). Not a statement.
@@lakyfx Would you recommend a 3060 12GB OC over a 3060TI 8GB? Lowering the quality of games with the TI will give me the same experience as the 3060 12GB full throttle?

This is truly pathetic and disgusting. And yes, I am somewhat salty as I run 3060TI - however as games get optimized - the pure power of the Titanium class will outstrip the VRAM reqs,
In 1080p dlss 3 working fine but 1440p starting problem, is it game by game, if VRAM is full dlss 3 not working, 1440p + Medium details is ok but on Ultra not, because vram overflow

Both are equal actually. 3060 Ti is better in term of raw power but sucked at 8GB VRAM meanwhile 3060 is weak but his 12GB is superior. Win2 situation. They don't want your card to be future-proof. Simple.
It's not, simple VRAM overflow in Ultra, RT settings that increase VRAM requirements. Then with Far Cry 6 it's the HD Texture pack, simply if you want quality 4K textures after the game you need 12+ GB of VRAM otherwise the GPU has nothing to process and is underutilized. It's nothing mysterious, you just need to study the issue enough before you start firing off terms like fake out of ignorance here. Just because you don't understand something doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
@@blissseeker4719 The lack of VRAM is in cases of AAA titles with 4K textures and mostly when using RT. Hogwarts Legacy, Far Cry 6 + HD Texture pack, Last of Us Part I are the most noticeable. This is probably not the case with Minecraft. Elden Ring there I don't know I haven't tested it much.
The only unfortunate thing is that it's not fake :). To understand what's going on here you need to have a bit more advanced HW knowledge. If you don't have it there is no reason to call it a fake.
The vram on 3060 is like a 12" D on a 80yrs old... any stud in his 20s with a 5" is gonna beat it Lol Let alone the mighty Ti!! Jokes aside... in games Ti is about 30-35% faster than the 3060 and in rendering the gap is even bigger than that. The 256 bit memory is going to get rid of the cached data from sys ram much quicker. UNLESS you wanna play at high res with trx on or if there's poorly optimized game. In that case the weaker regular 3060's chip is gonna tank it's 12gb vram anyways
Yeah, my 3060 ti doesn't present any of these issues at 1440p in games, so I dont know what the deal is with peoples systems. The real reason for the performance issue is the outdated driver on the 3060 ti that he is using vs. the 3060.
The drivers are up to date, the mystery is elsewhere :), max settings in 4K, in the case of FarCry6 HD texture pack for 4K, where the textures don't fit in VRAM and this results in a FPS crash.
Now fr guys. The first game was definently false. Like the 8 v ram 3060 ti GOT 11FPS?! And the 12gb 3060 over 60. This must be scripted because look at the v ram of both. The 3060 ti is using a little under 8gb(his limit) and the 3060 just a little over 8gb. So the v ram is not the faul there. The 3060 ti must have been taking ALOT more then 8gb to have this of a differences😐

in 99% of cases the 3060Ti is faster that's clear. 3060 can only be faster if it overflows 8GB 3060ti of its VRAM so the GPU starts to lose performance since it doesn't have a supply of textures for rendering.
Bro this video is flippled lmfao. No ways the 3060ti is that low. Faster memory bus, more cuda cores and better dye. Lol no ways. I am goi g to do a test between these two myself.
Bro got 64 Gigs of RAM 💀 I hope you don’t use your PC only for gaming because if you do you fell into the rookie trap 😂 more does not always equal better, especially not when 16 GB is more than enough RAM for gaming
Davinci Sutido Resolve :) fort Cutting vid :) for example. But believe that 16GB can hold the system back in 2023 games. 64GB I have in order to see the RAM leak in 2023 games, which almost a rule. 90% of games released in 2023 can take up 20-25GB of RAM. If I only had 16GB on the GPU test machine it would mean a minor imitation of the GPU and then the test would not reflect reality. Especially in the 1% and 0.1% lows. So benchmarking the GPU on less than 32GB of RAM doesn't make sense to me.

In India both rtx 4070 and 3080 price is 960 💵 dollar
When i am from you can't get anything past a 6700xt
My laptop gtx 1650ti have 4gb..
i found them in the same price what should i buy
I will give U one example. The Last of Us Part I. Full details and DLLS Quality, RT On, 1080 p. This game eats 12 GB of VRAM and works quite well on RTX 3060 12 GB.
Yeah they dont want us to know, then buy another one year after year Just because she haves 2gb more
Uf yo re contento con una rx 6800xt de 16GB
Me getting 100 fps on mw2 with my 2060😂
Can you try 3060 ti and 3060 12gb but with dlss and raytracing
I have this test on my chanel dlss and rt.
You think like this vid ? czcams.com/video/T5eESEc6W4k/video.html
THE 3060TI IN THE VID IS SHOWING 1% LOWS
This is truly pathetic and disgusting. And yes, I am somewhat salty as I run 3060TI - however as games get optimized - the pure power of the Titanium class will outstrip the VRAM reqs,
I'm still waiting for the 3060ti 16GB mod
so did you ask me to downgrade my current gpu to 3060
nope i will go for Radeon
Best of satisfied video's as gaming videos after seeing this bro and thanks ❤
Thanks
My 4060 is more powerful with dlss3 and frame generation, technology is more important right now
Bro why you prefer 4060?
Is 4060 work with 8gb dlss3?
Someone say 8gb vram its not work for dlss3 because dlss3 need more vram for scalling the ai
In 1080p dlss 3 working fine but 1440p starting problem, is it game by game, if VRAM is full dlss 3 not working, 1440p + Medium details is ok but on Ultra not, because vram overflow

90 watt...
What should I buy Rtx 3060 12gb or rtx 3080 10gb?
3080 10GB
@lakyfx it's $1000 for me 😢
Both are equal actually. 3060 Ti is better in term of raw power but sucked at 8GB VRAM meanwhile 3060 is weak but his 12GB is superior. Win2 situation. They don't want your card to be future-proof. Simple.
I have a 3060Ti and this don't happen here dude, maybe this is fake?
Because you're not playing at max settings in 4K. In some cases, there's just not enough VRAM.
@@lakyfxBro should i buy 3060 Ti or 3060 for 1080p?
@@feneerbahce 3060ti
@@lakyfx The Last Of Us Part One. Maxed settings with RT, DLSS and 1080 p. The game takes 12 GB of VRAM.

This is the WORST benchmark that i saw
Ok, thanks for the opinion👍
500mb is no big deal ti variant faster in every way!
So, I am 4060 ti owner and it is better than 3060
Nah that's fake I see many comparison videos and 3060 ti is 24% more faster than 3060
It's not, simple VRAM overflow in Ultra, RT settings that increase VRAM requirements.
@@lakyfx so for games like Minecraft and maybe Elden Ring with RTX at 1080p, is tge 3060 with 12GB really better than the 3060Ti?
@@blissseeker4719 The lack of VRAM is in cases of AAA titles with 4K textures and mostly when using RT. Hogwarts Legacy, Far Cry 6 + HD Texture pack, Last of Us Part I are the most noticeable. This is probably not the case with Minecraft. Elden Ring there I don't know I haven't tested it much.
@@lakyfx 4K texture packs. Are these present at 1080p? I don't think it's a common problem.
@@lakyfx I have a 3060ti is in the same test of FarCry 6 the minimum FPS was at 60 with the same conditions 😊
Fake button ✅
AS A RTX 3060 TI OWNER I CAN SAY WTF IS THIS
It is downvolted 3060 ti vs overclocked 3060😂
Fake don’t even try to deny it the 3060ti was pulling 90w and the 3060 was pulling 100w more than that
8 gb is for compétitive PLAYER
Fake
Aquí es distinto.. la calidad de la rtx 3060 de 8gb es peor que la de 3060 12gb..
I have the 12gig variant 😎
Whered u get it? I cant seem to find the 3060 12 gb anywhere online
Yeah😂 of course i don't get these numbers with my 3060 ti. Don't know what you have done, but clearly you have an issue with yours.
Lol give me another joke 😂😂😂
Pov: You don't even know how a video card works
3060 12gb or 4060ti 8gb ?
4060ti is like 30% better, just sometimes get limited by the VRAM
I see so many 3060 ti users coping hard in this comment section lmao
Nice fake video everyone you dont see real benchmark ok
Não?
Yeah, my 3060 ti doesn't present any of these issues at 1440p in games, so I dont know what the deal is with peoples systems. The real reason for the performance issue is the outdated driver on the 3060 ti that he is using vs. the 3060.
The drivers are up to date, the mystery is elsewhere :), max settings in 4K, in the case of FarCry6 HD texture pack for 4K, where the textures don't fit in VRAM and this results in a FPS crash.
@@lakyfxok. I guess it's just a bug with rivatuner statistics.
Benchmark fake
Now fr guys. The first game was definently false. Like the 8 v ram 3060 ti GOT 11FPS?!
And the 12gb 3060 over 60. This must be scripted because look at the v ram of both. The 3060 ti is using a little under 8gb(his limit) and the 3060 just a little over 8gb. So the v ram is not the faul there. The 3060 ti must have been taking ALOT more then 8gb to have this of a differences😐
저기다 300기가 달아놓으면 4090뺨칠긋
Graphics card bottleneck both
bro i saw many comparison video of rtx 3060 12gb vs 3060 ti 8 gb , 3060 ti perform very good in ever game its is better than 3060 12 gb but in cyberpunk 2077 3060 12gb is better than 3060 ti
in 99% of cases the 3060Ti is faster that's clear. 3060 can only be faster if it overflows 8GB 3060ti of its VRAM so the GPU starts to lose performance since it doesn't have a supply of textures for rendering.
@@lakyfx in simpel sentence, rtx 3060 ti got better perform, but its very limited because its only have 8gb vram
And to load texture, you need vram
I love those 🤡, who have at least 6 gb sitting for nothing...8gb is enough
Bro this video is flippled lmfao. No ways the 3060ti is that low.
Faster memory bus, more cuda cores and better dye. Lol no ways. I am goi g to do a test between these two myself.
Bro got 64 Gigs of RAM 💀
I hope you don’t use your PC only for gaming because if you do you fell into the rookie trap 😂 more does not always equal better, especially not when 16 GB is more than enough RAM for gaming
