Running a CZcams Channel next to our Guest House Business was an exciting experience but has also proven to be too much workload for a healthy family life. We have to make a tough decision and we hope you understand.

I almost cried with relief when you finally said it was not the videos, but the the guesthouse that was being discontinued.
Running a B&B sounds like such fun, but I have friends who've done it & it's a ton of work. Glad the videos are continuing, it would be a shame to waste Phillipp's great talent as one of the premier influencers of the decade.

Quality video makingis hard work, apparently some channels devote 50-60 hours per week.

I really love the two of you and I can’t imagine not being able to connect with you. I know the decision was very hard and I know how stressed you must’ve been doing so many things and raising a family and trying to get everything beautifully perfect which it is because you guys are so amazing😊💕💕💕💕💕That being said, each of us has to know our limitations in our boundaries. I believe that I am the recipient of cancer (and so do my doctors) because of too much stress in my life and overworking it’s very important we keep a balance and I lie said it’s easy to say that now that I have been battling cancer issues for the last 11 years…. What is it they say hindsight is better than foresight. So I’m so glad you guys have had the ability to step back and take a look before things got any worse in your life❣️❣️❣️❣️🐕Always do what is best for your Family first and foremost❣️❣️ and even though it may hurt, never be afraid to say “NO”😊♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

Wow! Big decision. I hope the CZcams channel grows to the point where you can build a bigger team and hire staff to run the guest house so you make use of those beautiful spaces without losing family time.
I am so glad that you chose CZcams over the guest house. To begin with, I can just imagine how work intensive it must be to run a guest house. A self-catering gite in your annex (for lack of a better word) is far easier but still generates income. Philip always cracks me up with his deadpan delivery of the most outrageous remarks. This episode’s is when he says he tries to leave the girls in the forest but they always find their way home. Too funny. Can’t wait for next week!

Guests in the house is all consuming, focus on what helps you diversify and stabilise your income for the long term, and allow yourselves the most flexibility and least use of your time.
I echo what others have been saying. My heart did a flop when I saw the trailer yesterday. You are the reason we oldies eagerly look forward to turning on our phones and enter your world; a world we can only imagine. Your CZcams posts are a way of helping so many of us.

Your wonderful humour keeps us guessing all the time ,you could seal the glass with an intumescent adhesive to make a fire proof element to your borrowed light .you can film when convenient to you b and b has a fixed routein to tie you to the building and makes all jobs quick or broken up and you do have many more rooms to renovate.

Suggestion… since you have the guest rooms, would it be practical to use them for occasional volunteers? If you had one or two per month they could potentially help you speed along your renovations, and would make use of the spaces you already have available. Most of your followers would probably happily put in a week of work at the chateau in exchange for staying in such a lovely place (and maybe a day free to explore the area).

It makes sense to drop the guest house business if there is a volume of work for small profits or the opportunity cost of doing something else that makes a better return. Quality time is so important. I love your vlogs and I save them up to binge watch! I look forward to seeing your future renovation projects.

I started watching with a heavy heart, your videos have become me and my mum's favourite these past few months, she really loves watching the vlogs and so do I, so the relief I feel is real🤭 would have supported either decision though, you guys are amazing and I can't imagine the amount of hard work it takes to keep the renovations and everything else going

I've been binge watching these videos for the last two days and I almost booked a therapist when I thought you might be stopping the videos. These ARE my therapy. I'm so relieved the videos will continue. The downside of binge watching is that once I've caught up, there will be a lapse until your next video . . . . . . . and that feeling of abandonment. Maybe I SHOULD book that therapist.

The amount of thought and love to detail you put into those rooms is just absolutely incredible. The talent, passion and craftsmanship you both bring to the table makes me truly jealous.
