Thank you! I'm putting together my whiplash-T turbine and I genuinely couldn't understand the vague instructions. The translations are a little off and I was getting frustrated. Anyways. I searched everywhere and THIS explained what I needed to do. Surprisingly, despite being two clearly different engines they require the same steps.

To lock the crank i take off the carb and insert a custom made piece of plastic
into the crank inlet. When the nut is seated i put a towel around the fan and further
    tigthen up the nut.

I don't like to use loctite there.. I's really hard to unscrew the fan even without glue.

With the greatest respect I would never use anything but only locking nut to lock the crank I have seen so many pistons damaged near the skirt by locking it this way as the crank is only locked from one side instead of a plastic tool that surrounds the con rod

Great video! Probably a dumb question, but I don’t how to do it. How do you dismount the cooling fan? Mine got damaged but I don’t know how to pull it out. Thanks!

The Fan is usually (on most models) mounted to a pressure fit mount. So when you tighten the Nut and washer it will press and expand the metal mount then you lock it down with two screws. removing this part can be hard but there are a few ways. One way is to get a fan pulling tool that basically reverse tightens to pull the fan hub as you tighten the device or since metal expanse and contracts with heat, you can heat up the fan hub and lock the piston by removing the back plate. Then you have to just heat and twist and use brute force lol. Their may even be other creative ways out there :)
