    Hello there, thanks for the video, the M8 bolts don't seem very long, how would you go on if you had lots of ring terminals to connect as all on a single terminal?
    Thanks 😊

      Sorry for the delay. I imagine you could buy longer bolts from a hardware store or search online.

    Is it normal for solar to only charge this battery to 13.38v? Mine won’t charge above it so my solar charge controller won’t go to float mode

    like the put clams like 10 years, 30000 cycles, I do wonder how they can make clams like that, unless the have been make the same or at least the very, very, very similar products, and they have sample the been doing that what's clammed? (just say this had a setup that could charge/dis-charge, it, if your charging a battery, even junk battery, just after be charged will hole something of charge, power leaks out over time, your not going to be giving it any time between charge/ discharge cycles, for that to have much effect to happen?

    Just bought this direct from Eco-worthy and straight out the box only measures 9 volts. Customer service told me to try charging it as may have lost charge (unlikely down to 9 volts). Tried charging with Victron charger which works with other batteries but won't charge this battery. Now waiting for customer service to hopefully replace as clearly faulty but no response yet.

      Sorry for the delay. I hope Eco-Worthy came back and managed to resolve it. My batteries are still going strong.

      I ended up having the bank refund me and opened up the battery to see what was wrong as they Ecoworthy didn't respond. Found one of the cells connections which are laser welded had come loose.@@Jaffabite

    I got the nermak 12v20a but the screws are too small for the cable connector end loop. What bolt size do I buy to make it fit?

    • @Jaffabite
      @Jaffabite  Před 4 měsíci

      I suspect you will have resolved this by now but I think I may have mentioned in my battery comparison video if you wanted to check that out but failing that a piece of paper (tech specs) that came with the battery should have given the size (i.e. m8).

    I couldn't find any real tech info on these, 100ah is an easy figure to see which suggest I can run something drawing 100a for 1hr, now that's about 1000w of real world energy, but my kettle is 2.2kw from my 3kw rated inverter, that suggest 225a or so for 6-7 mins, is the wiring inside this battery good enough for that or is it going to be turned into a space heater to keep me warm while the kettle boils.....

    • @Jaffabite
      @Jaffabite  Před rokem

      I'm afraid my inverter isn't that large to be able to help you. I managed to boil a small 500w kettle from my small inverter but I don't suspect that helps you with your enquiry. Maybe try emailing Eco-Worthy direct and seeing what sort of response they give. 🛰️

      @@Jaffabite I'm be buying individual cells and then I'll add a bms from jkbms, I know when they give specs they meet the specs, had a motor go short and the jkbms shut power off before even the fuses got warm, unfortunately 5 seconds later it turned the power back on again! And it did this until I hit the isolator but the fact it could detect a short and cut power so fast is what convinced me that there's are the only bms I'll ever buy

      Thanks for your comment. It is more for like solar and off grid projects. Their marketing text reads "perfect for motorhome, caravan, marine, electric scooter, golf carts, power wheels, trolling motor, tool trailer, backup power supply, off-grid solar power system, etc."

    • @Jaffabite
      @Jaffabite  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hi there, in all honesty I don't know as I've never charged it from a plug socket. I only purchased this for a solar set-up and it charges up well on a bright sunny day. If you needed to know you could try emailing Eco-Worthy as they have all the tech specs and should be able to answer. Good luck!

    How many amps should the charger be set at?

    • @Jaffabite
      @Jaffabite  Před 4 měsíci

      I'm not too sure as I only use a Solar setup for charging it. Mine is set at 12v and the amount of amps is decided by the sun which can be next to nothing up to around 15amps. If the battery didn't come with the tech specs on a piece of paper you could try sending eco-worthy an email.

      As mentioned on my other post - on your next comms mention that you've watched the Jaffabite CZcams videos on their products and it speaks very highly of their customer service. Also bear in mind that they are China based, so there is quite a time delay if you live in the UK.

      Didn't have a problem myself, luck of the draw as with anything from China and a price point. Battery had issues replaced within 10 days and a 10 Amazon voucher. All good, battery 280ah running like a dream
