This show should have never ended! Dr Murphy and Dr Glassman were so in tuned with each other and it portrayed on screen. The whole cast did a phenomenal job! But Freddie Highmore is an exceptional actor.
Actualy, as mutch i love this show and wanted to it to continue. Its good how it ended! because now we remember it for what it is and is good! Most shows do the terrible mistake that they make too many season of it and it will com stail or repentive or just bad! i agree that i would have loved more seasons but the same thinking i love that they ended in a good spot!
Although I've watched "The Good Doctor" off and on, I appreciate the fact that the show spotlights Autism in a positive way. And that it encourages empathy and compassion towards people with Autism. Major, major thanks to Freddie and the cast!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!
I'm a huge fan of this show and I remember when he first made an announcement about it and I was surprised. Bates Motel was released on March 18, 2013 so him and all the Bates Motel cast and crew members have been working on the 1st few episodes for a while before the 1st episode was released and the finale of Bates Motel was April 24, 2017 and around that year that's when he started working on The Good Doctor and casting people. After every good movies and shows he has produced, directed and played on he still have not received an Emmy award yet? He deserves it ❤
I cried in the last episode. It hit me hard when Dr. Glassman passed away. The moment when Dr. Murphy said if I want to remember you I’ll go to the merry go round. It made me cry because I realized that I don’t have a place to go to when I want to remember my mom. She passed away almost 3 years ago to cancer. This whole entire show made me laugh, cry and angry but it was amazing. I’m really sad that this show ended. Thank you Freddie and the whole entire cast for such an amazing show.
I will miss the show. I will miss the characters. I miss Dr. Glassman. He should stay and not get killed. Asher death was tragic and devastating. Goodbye, the Good Doctor. Thank you for the 7 years you gave to us. ❤
My son is autistic and every show I can point out several things that my husband and I say that’s so Jackson. This show has captured my heart and I hate that it is ending. Thank you for shinning a light on autism.

It was a great final episode, well written and the actors did a fantastic job. I’m sad it’s over 😭😭😭 We started watching this show from day 1 because I have a son on the spectrum. He was 13 when the show began and it did give me a glimpse how successful he will be. Thank you for this show it also helped me understand my son better. My son is high functioning and the show gave us better ways to communicate with my son.
Well written show and well acted by everyone. Freddie Highmore is excellent in every roll that he takes on. I have watched him grow through the years and it's been a pleasure. He a truly classy, articulate, and smart actor. Love what Shaun said in the finale: "When you touch one life, you don’t just touch one life, you touch every life that that life touches." So very true.

I didn't know Mr. Highmore was English! Bloody good! lol I watched the pilot on here and was so impressed with it. Makes me wish I would have watched it from the beginning.
I wish the show was still on. This is such an awesome series. And Freddie played the part with absolute perfection. He's a very talented actor and will do great in whatever he's in. I'm sure playing the part of an autistic individual, much less a DOCTOR with autism had to be very challenging. Freddie pulled it off and then some. Some of those episodes hit you in the gut, the acting is so good. The rest of the cast is awesome too.
I am going to miss this show, but I'll gladly rewatch all the past seasons on Hulu. I'm definitely ready for episode 9 (May 14th) and Episode 10 (May 21st). I'm excited to see Dr. Claire Browne (Antonia Thomas) coming back. I kept saying that she'll come back one season. Yes, the actress did told Freddie and all the directors and producers that she wanted to leave to try something new, but she was only asked to come back to wrap up her storyline. She left during season 4 episode 20 and stayed in Guatemala and made a guest star appearances in Season 5 Episode 16 and 17.

All the actors seem to genuinely love their characters and their fellow actors; the personal investment to the show is evident in their emotional responses.
The actors do build a family, who we watch evolve through both good and bad times. It is sad to see this series end, but we feel that it was a satisfying ending, one of the best conclusions we've experienced.
I find it is incredible that two great doctor shows (Good Doctor and House) both star British actors mastering very believable, mid-west American accents.
Freddie Highmore is a matured, insightful, humble , an intellectual. He is going to perform brilliantly in any character he pLays because of the person he is. Of course to add to it he is AMAZINGLY TALENTED!!!! You could actually feel what he was thinking or how he was processing his interactions as a person with autism. This is a very well written and directed show!!!! The kids also act so well!!
This has been an amazing, touching, fun, inspirational as well as educational show with autism at the the forefront followed behind. Hope with an amazing cast that will touch everyone in every way. There was a lesson to be learned in almost every show. If you paid attention as a viewer, you would grow and change your thought process. Your emotional intellect by the end of the show and that's amazing to accomplish through a TV show. Kudos to the cast crew and all those that participated in making this a wonderful 7-year adventure

Eventually I was so embedded into the world of “The Good Doctor “ I learned every character development it was a roller coaster for emotions to me all the episodes aired. Thank you for the time dedicated to making this show I will miss it ever greatly. When I eat a green apple I think of myself as Shaun Murphy eating his fav snack 😂😢❤

We looked forward to each new episode. Each one had such an authentic storyline and all the characters were so real and relatable. We will certainly miss it all!

For me, comes nowhere near House, and would have loved to see a Hugh Laurie cameo in the final season (given a few House alumni were on The Good Doctor.

The last few seconds of the scene, they zoom in on Shaun and you can see a figure in the distance get more blurry as they zoom in but it looks like Glassman walking down the steps. One of television's best series. Freddie Highmore and Richard Schiff are two of my favorite actors, in part due to this show.
