    Mind if I ask what you used to attach the pontoon to the rigger brackets? It looks like you have the brackets screwed into a base plate sunk into the (bondo?). Would really like to follow thus method when I do mine, thinking fiberglass and resin should make it even stronger. Just need to find a foam that will stand up to the themalytic reaction.

    Awesome job man, I love it. I plan on doing this exact same thing on my Vibe sea ghost. Haven't quite decided where to mount it yet but seeing how well it worked having both arms on the back for you seems like the option i'll go with. What did you use for the brackets on the outrigger and did you do anything more than fiberglass/bondo them in place?

      Hey glad u like it. Was a fun project worked better then I thought it would.
      I used a piece of square pipe to fasten outriggers, but was mostly for height. Laminated small aluminium square in outrigger for support, like a backing plate.
      I laminated riggers with Styrofoam, exopy resin, and gelcoat ( marine paint).
      No putty.
      There's one other video of outrigger, kind of same thing.

    • @cesluis40
      @cesluis40  Před 4 lety +1

      No.. you only need 1 outrigger.
      It obviously doesn't allow me to tip to the right, and it acts as a counterweight to my left..i would have to tip the outrigger and motor completely out of the water to flip to my left..
